I didn't think they were too bad. My R1 is red so the black/white/red suit would be ideal. And besides, "fashion" is my last worry. I just want to make sure that if I do by chance go down that the armor isn't going to tear like a cotton t-shirt. I just don't understand how these can be so inexpensive.

Resurrecting this thread. Stopped into IP today and again, these one-piece suits were marked down from $599 to $199 in the closeout section. Very tempting as the suit that I've had for years has been way too big (bought it online) and thinking about selling it. Did anyone buy one of these suits yet? If so, what are your thoughts? It's definitely not the best quality leather and the armor does seem very flexible...but, that might be more comfortable compared to the hard armor I have right now to where I feel very stiff and not flexible enough. Very torn on this one since these suits are so cheap, and wanting to get on the track for the first time this season. They should be pretty decent since I'm asking about these 2 years later. It's not a "one and done" item. Any thoughts at all???

Ohhhhh this is tempting. I am supposed to be house / dog sitting Saturday - Sunday morning. I'm going to call my buddy in a little bit to check to see how often the dog needs to go out during the day. They are leaving early AM tomorrow so as long as the dog can be let out before they leave, I should be good to go. If I have to cut out of the ride like, 30-60 mins. early, don't shoot me. Let me see what I can do...

Well crap, footage didn't turn out. It didn't record for some reason while I had it mounted on the swingarm (must not have slid the switch all the way forward) and when I had it on my helmet, the 360 mount must have fallen somewhat since it's pointed almost directly at my gas tank. So this just means...same route, maybe this weekend????

Quaker's bike night has gone downhill. I went a couple weeks ago, when it was awesome outside, and about half of the back lot was full. Which, if anyone knows, typically the whole back AND front lots are full on bike nights. I live right down the road from Quaker as well but didn't feel the need to go out again. And yes....effffff these weather people. I've driven to work everyday over the past week and a half....when I could be riding.

Thanks dude. I'll figure out a way to mount the Contour next time since I won't be rushed for a ride.

Here's mine. Didn't spend all that much time editing since I didn't have much action. I was in the medium group and we had several times where we had to slow down due to traffic and other things that happened. Sorry for the Contour angle...I had just gotten the camera and was scrambling to put it on somewhere other than my helmet since I don't like that angle. The Yammy just doesn't have any smooth or even places to put a mount so I had to throw it under the strap on the second seat. Awesome meeting some new people! Kinda shocked at all those that didn't show up but hey, it's just new people to ride with. Thanks MyKill for leading us! Definitely a boring ride at first but once we eventually got going on the second half, it was a blast. I ignored the fact that I needed to dip out at 3:00 since I (eventually) started to have a lot of fun getting around traffic and other groups. And thanks to all who organized, were leaders or sweepers and everyone for coming out to make it happen. F.R.E.D!
