  1. ^^ No kidding? I've talked with several people that have Verizon and they never have a problem with their service. The only complaints I've ever heard about against Verizon is their customer service. I just haven't jumped ship yet since Apple didn't come out with a totally redesigned iPhone. Plus, I barely ever actually talk on the phone....almost all of my communication is via text.
  2. Personally, I hate AT&T. I live in the Westerville/Lewis Center area and I constantly drop calls or when I try to dial out, it says, "Call failed." I can't speak for your area but I'm assuming Verizon would be the better option. The 8% discount wouldn't be enough for me to switch....you get what you pay for. I get a 20% discount and I'd rather pay more money for service that actually works.
  3. I've actually noticed more and more bikers not waving anymore. I'll wave for the hell of it but hardly ever get a response back. Not sure what the big deal is? It's just a wave.
  4. Roadkill was definitely a problem yesterday...
  5. I was down around that area yesterday...only hit up a couple of those roads but gravel wasn't a problem.
  6. Gotcha. I had a feeling I was having a joke pulled on me. Still wish I could have made it though.
  7. Rumor has it that Kid Rock was supposed to make an appearance. What was the deal over there???
  8. Yeah, it was an experience, haha. But, I pulled over, got off the bike, took my helmet off and took the key out of the ignition. I was cool with him, he was cool with me. I knew I was in the wrong and he could tell that from talking to me. I learned my lesson though...did it once and never did it again. Damn sneaky po-po's in the air, lol
  9. Agreed. I got clocked by an airplane doing 113 but since I stopped, and I was just "cruising" in the left lane not bothering anyone (is how he put it), he dropped it down to 83. He gave my buddy that I was riding with the same ticket. I had no idea I was clocked by a plane until he stopped me and told me.
  10. That makes me ashamed to be a part of sport bikes. And I can't believe that there's that many jackasses in this world.

    Atgatt....

I never saw this so thanks for posting. I....can't....stop....staring
  12. If you have a local Drug Mart around you, Monday's are their "deal" day. 79 cents per movie - no matter what type it is (new or old release). Granted, their selection sucks and there's only a few copies of each new release but I'll typically go there on Monday's, walk out with 4 (max. allowed) new movies and spend a little over 3 bucks for all new releases. I'm the type that won't rent movies for a long time and then all of the sudden, I'll rent a bunch so I never thought paying a continuous fee per month was the best for me.
  13. I would have stopped since I had no idea about that 4 lane rule. Well hell, you learn something new everyday.
  14. Couldn't agree more. However, I'll still take an R1 over anything any day. I remember reading somewhere that 2013 is going to be a completely redesigned bike. We shall see...
  15. Oh it infuriated me. It led to MANY fights. The damn dog was like, 3 or 4 years old too. Any discipline I gave him, didn't work. He was already trained in his ways and wouldn't ever listen. So, I ended up getting a baby gate and locking him in the kitchen to avoid him ruining the carpet everywhere in the apartment we had at the time. My ex just didn't care and had no respect for anything. She let her dog do anything he wanted. One of the many reasons why she and I aren't together anymore, ha
  16. Yeah, I'll agree that I got one hell of a dog. I got him from Jack's Aquarium and Pets on Cleveland Ave when he was just 9 weeks old. As stated before, it has a lot to do with the owners too. My ex gf had a little Yorkie and the thing would pee and poop in the house, daily. All she would do is shake her head and clean up the mess. I'm like, "Holy crap, if you can't discipline a dog, you sure as hell can't discipline a child, lol." She didn't like that, haha. People that let their dogs run all over them irritate the crap out of me.
  17. I figured it would be something along those lines but I raised a mut from when he was 9 weeks old. I just had to put him to sleep several months ago but all in his 14 years, he was an unbelievable dog. Never chewed anything, never did anything wrong and picked up house training very quickly when he was a pup (only had maybe 2 or 3 accidents inside the house). I was very lucky not to have a destructive dog like a lot of my friends have. But I never did this with his food and he was never too eager when I would feed him...wouldn't chase after me or knock the food out of my hands...just waited for me to fill his bowl and set it down. No big deal. I did solely train him myself too. RIP buddy.
  18. Good job with them...definitely very well trained. I have a question though - what's the point in making them wait for them to get their food? I've seen other people do this with their dogs and it makes no sense to me. It just looks like some sort of power trip people get on. I mean, their dogs...not freakin' slaves. But just enlighten me...I guess I'm missing something.
