  1. Enhanced protection for the road in a set of good looking jeans is exactly what The Primary riding jeans from Cortech deliver for the every-rider. There’s been more than one attempt at creating jeans that fit comfortably and offer excellent protection, but the end result typically yielded one or the other, usually the latter. The people at Cortech considered the comfort problem seriously, as the protection angle is well understood when using Cordura nylon and Kevlar fabrics such as those found in these jeans. After rigorous testing, they arrived at The Primary Riding Jeans. These jeans have a feel that’s pretty close to how they look; comfortable. A single layer of jean material is abetted on the inside by a Cordura Nylon and Kevlar blend fabric. Kevlar, as you know – is often used in bulletproof vests, which isn’t exactly a stretch in terms of the durability required to survive a fall at speed out on the road. In fact, it’s about 500% more durable than standard cotton. But what good is that abrasion resistance if the whole plot were to fall to pieces? Not to worry, high-impact seams are triple-stitched. This, in addition to the added non-traditional stitching you’ll find inside the jeans which are specifically aimed at road-going riders. And if you wish, for a few extra dollars – you can add a set of knee and hip armor inserts to your order to absorb the forces of an unfortunate impact. Ready-made slots are sewn into the mesh inner lining and ready to accommodate those armor pieces should you choose to add them to your order. Which brings us to the inside of these comfortable motorcycle jeans. The entire section that rests against the front of your legs is covered in a mesh liner. This keeps the fabric material off your skin, whether or not you’ve chosen to use the knee and hip armor inserts. In doing so, you’re able to move about the bike easily when hustling through fast sections or be sat at ease without any pulling when you’re out for dinner. And unless someone’s looking closely, really closely – it’s almost impossible to tell that these jeans are hiding a high-abrasion secret. That is unless, you leave the Scotchlite reflective tabs that are at the back of each hem folded out for added visibility. Comfort for the road, with added protection; it’s all in a classic Western-style six-pocket set The Primary jeans from Cortech. 2. Motion Pro Proper tire pressure is critical if you expect to have a safe, let alone proper-handling, ride. And especially, if you want fast laps at the track. A quick, two minute job is all it takes to make sure you're ready for the road, but you need an accurate tire pressure gauge to do the job properly! Motion Pro's tire pressure gauges are just the ticket. Available in two pressure reading ranges, 0-30 PSI and 0-60 PSI, each gauge comes with a liquid-filled 2-1/2" dial with easy-to-read hash marks with PSI readings on the outer side of the scale and a KPa reading on the inner side. The dial itself is affixed atop an aluminum body that also houses a pressure relief valve. The valve's large release button is easily throttled for quick and precise pressure release. Opposite the dial, a flexible hose with swiveling brass fittings at either end is attached which makes getting into tight spaces easy. Each unit is backed by a two year manufacturer warranty and ships to you calibrated and ready for use! Call 866.931.6644 ext 818 and talk to Mike to order yours today!
  3. Full-exhaust system performance without the full exhaust system price. Yoshimura’s engineers recognized early on that the OEM headers as fitted to 2015+ YZF-R1 models was well designed, light and well, difficult to improve on. So, instead of going the whole hog, they released the Race Series Alta ¾ titanium exhaust system you see below. All Alpha Series components are engineered for the race track, they’re lighter than the stock components they replace while improving exhaust flow at the same time. This particular kit bolts up in place of the OEM catalytic convertor, saving tons of weight, and the heat that comes along with having such a piece of equipment fitted to your bike. The result, weight savings and performance aside, is the crossplane firing order’s sound being turned up to plenty loud! The link pipes and mid pipes are all fabricated entirely of titanium and come fitted with the requisite oxygen sensor bungs for the OE sensors, plus an additional bung is fitted just ahead of where the muffler is attached. It’s there for aftermarket tuners that employ their own O2 sensors – a nice bonus for the serious performance rider! At the end you’ll find a carbon fiber canister. This unit features a titanium inlet cap that meets carbon fiber woven to Yoshimura’s specifications for the muffler’s sleeve and end cap. Through the middle, there’s plenty of space for gases to pass through and it’s all held together with high-quality hardware. Each exhaust system comes with all required hardware for an easy, pain-free installation (especially considering you don’t have to replace the headers). Get this stellar exhaust shipped to your door, call Mike on 866.931.6644 ext. 818, send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com, or just shoot us a PM and we’ll get back to you right away.
  4. The Neotec II in anthracite looks quite sharp. Ready made for the Sena communication system. Just remove cover and fit it in place. Stainless steel quick-release chinstrap is fitted as standard Just set your preferred tension via conventional means, and then you can be in or out of the helmet with a gloved hand, almost instantly.
  5. Take the dead spot out of the OEM steering damper’s stroke, reduce wobble and increase front end confidence with an Ohlins steering damper for the YZF-R1. This adjustable unit bolts in place of the stock item and requires no special hardware, custom fabrication or permanent modification to complete the installation. Just unplug the OEM unit, put this one in its place, adjust resistance as you prefer and you’re all set. What makes these units particularly effective, when compared to stock, is the fact that there’s no free play anywhere in the 63mm stroke. This is due to the unit’s pressurized fluid design that exerts equal pressure on either side of the internal piston. In this way, resistance is consistent as you point the front wheel where you need. The result is consistent feedback from the front end which means more confidence for the rider. And of course, you’re permitted 16 clicks of adjustment from nearly zero resistance all the way up full-on. Each click provides a noticeable change which makes dialing it in a pleasure. Each kit comes with a precision-made steering damper unit, a resistor for plugging into the stock harness (which prevents an error code from being displayed), all required installation hardware and a set of easy-to-follow instructions. These Swedish engineered and assembled steering dampers will improve front end feel and rider confidence. To order yours, give Mike a call on 866-931-6644 ext 818, send us a PM here or email forum@ridersdiscount.com with OHLINS STEERING DAMPER in the subject line along with the model and year of your machine and we’ll get back to you right away.
  6. A premium full-face motorcycle helmet, Shoei’s RF-1200 combines a myriad of features specifically aimed at the road-going and trackday rider. It’s lighter, more compact (to the eye at least), better ventilated and yet, more protective than all other RF series helmets to come before. Its evolutionary design is worth your attention, especially if your current helmet is a little long in the tooth. Ventilation is addressed with a wind-tunnel shell; four intakes and four exhaust vents draw air through the helmet and straight to the scalp. Enhancing exhaust flow is an integrated wing on the back of the helmet that creates a low-pressure area right behind the helmet, but in a way that doesn’t cause buffeting or whistling. The result is a passively enhanced cooling action that you’ll be happy with on hot days. The RF-1200’s shell uses Shoei’s AIM+ six-layer design that’s of a proprietary configuration. The material is hand-laid by skilled Japanese craftsmen before being molded into shape. Four different shell sizes are used to accommodate the entire size range. This is done to insure that these DOT and Snell-approved helmets are as safe and light as possible. The safety aspect of each helmet is aided by two separate, multi-density EPS liners that fit between the comfort liner and the outer shell. The foam itself absorbs energy in the event of an impact but also, aids in ventilation with carefully engineered ports that allow air to pass through to the rider and back out of the exhausts. That brings us to the 3D Max-Dry interior liner. This fully-removable and washable liner works with all of the ventilation channels to keep you comfy. When correctly sized (TJ is an expert at this!), the helmet fits just-right snug. And with that, keeping the helmet properly positioned on your head, sees to it that maximum safety is achieved. With the RF-1200, you get a light, safe and comfortable helmet suitable for a wide range of riding conditions. Each helmet ships with extras: a lower chin curtain, Pinlock Evo visor cover, breath guard and helmet bag. All workmanship is backed by a 5 year manufacturer warranty. For expert sizing guidance and lightning-fast shipping, call Mike on 866.931.6644 ext. 818, send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com, or just shoot us a PM and we’ll get back to you right away.
  7. Arguably the most recognizable brand on the market, Akrapovic brings exceptional performance to an already stellar performer in the 600cc class. Like all Racing Line Exhausts from Akrapovic, this one is built using premium stainless steel from the primary headers all the way back to the muffler’s link pipe. From there, a beautiful all-titanium muffler is affixed where it bellows the sweet sound of power at the command of your wrist through a carbon fiber end cap. To keep your boot from melting against the muffler, a carbon fiber heat shield fits over the front of the muffler. Not only does it keep goo from melting on the pipe, but it also makes the exhaust look the business. A removable sound insert is fitted as standard. All you need to do us remove a single bolt to pull that device from the muffler if you want all-out sound. And being an Akrapovic exhaust, it IS all about the sound. Igor and company at the Slovenian factory do their best to make sure their exhausts have a smooth, pleasing tone. In terms of performance, two factors come into play – first, the exhaust weighs 11.2 less than the OEM system – a not insignificant number. And then, when properly tuned with a stock engine, Akrapovic claims an almost 10 horsepower boost at 12,700 RPM. That’s a fat punch for mid-range power. In fact, from about 7000 RPM all the way to redline, you get a solid bump in engine performance. To get that tune, be sure to add a Power Commander V to your order, download the ready-made tuning map, and you’re good to go! Like all Akrapovic exhausts, craftsmanship is second-to-none and everything fits just as right. Inside the shipping carton, you’ll find a full set of instructions with pictures along with all of the required installation hardware. You know the routine - give TJ or Mike a call on 866.931.6644 to get this, or any other Akrapovic component sent straight to your door. Of course, forum@ridersdiscount.com or a PM works, too!

  16. Daijiro Kato lives on with Shoei’s X-Fourteen TC-1 Daijiro Replica Helmet. The colorful design faithfully replicates the same motif worn by the late rider during his Grands Prix days and is adorned with the now-retired #74 on the upper after portion of the lid. The bright colors are unmistakable and the work required to correctly render the pattern rightfully represents Daijiro’s legacy as a rider who was as fast as he was meticulous. Starting from within, each X-Fourteen helmet is fashioned around a highly-engineered, fully-removable comfort liner and cheek pads. These pieces effectively pull moisture off your head and keep you cool while you make way through the apex, or the toll booth. The (now-standard) emergency quick release system EQRS cheek pads allow for, not only a secure fit of the helmet, but also a faster, safer removal of the lid should the rider need careful attention after a crash. All of this is snuggled inside a dual-layer, multi-density EPS foam liner that absorbs impact energy in a fall, while effectively aiding in the delivery of cooling air straight to the scalp. For maximum safety, helmet sizing is critical, that’s why Shoei employs four different shell sizes in the X-Fourteen range to fit extra-small to XX-large heads. The shell itself, which uses six layers of hand-laid, varying materials, provides the right mix of rigidity and flexibility not typically seen in a fiberglass helmet, or that of a plastic shell. The result is a SNELL-approved helmet that almost certainly looks like it’s been developed in a wind tunnel (it was!). The shape is carefully engineered to provide effective rider ventilation without calling into question safety. Riders that spend a lot of time at the track will appreciate the minimal buffeting at speed in a helmet that doesn’t push the head around as much as lesser designs. Each helmet ships with extras: a lower air spoiler, Pinlock visor cover, breather guard, chin curtain and helmet back. For expert sizing guidance and lightning-fast shipping, call Mike on 866.931.6644 ext. 818, send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com, or just shoot us a PM and we’ll get back to you right away
  17. Attack rearsets give you all of the meat, with none of the fat, in one elegant package. Each kit comes with everything you need to not only improve your fit on the ZX-10R, but also – improve shifting performance and feel on the brake pedal. The rearsets are entirely manufactured using top-quality aluminum that’s all held together, stoutly, with high-quality stainless steel fasteners. And wherever pivot points are found, you get a precision bearing-mediated interface. Quality is of no concern, no matter how much you scrutinize these beauties. All of this lends well to durability in a crash. The footpegs are engineered to break off at half length, giving you enough room for your foot to purchase so you can finish the race or get home safely. Furthermore, each toe peg is mounted on a pivot joint for extra survivability. In terms of adjustability, there’s little, really nothing – left to be desired. You get a wide range of peg position possibilities, and also, you can adjust the length of the shifter and brake arms, too. And when it comes time to configure the rearsets to your particular dimension, you may have a hard time doing so while you admire the gorgeously sculpted components. From the backing plates, the carbon fiber heel guard or even the footpegs, there’s nuances that they eye will enjoy everywhere. You know the routine, give TJ or Mike a call on 866.931.6644 to get this, or any other Attack Performance component sent straight to your door. Of course, forum@ridersdiscount.com or a PM works, too!
