  1. All beautiful back roads I prolly had a good day of ride done by the time I am there but after suiting up including layers and heated and helmet, I decided to shed again to revisit the bathroom, poopinator ... Always like I be back. too much excitement lol ... really Samuel l Jackson should describe the days progress so far.
  2. Leaving in 15 mins, Samuel Jackson should describe this morning
  3. +1 I have the same one, pretty good functional set and economical
  4. The other end of a spark plug socket? can be used, forgot if it was 19 or 17
  5. Haha , if I was a rich sob and , and if I let him be he would have accomplished that ( as in climb on top and destroy it ) ,and for some reason when he was doing that the topic came to my mind but in all honesty u know I am hoping and praying that one day he actually can even remotely achieve something like yours
  6. Yea, durk is getting no love this weekend, he is getting multipled, four wheeling with old friends
  7. May be we might cross path somewhere, I might do what you do mostly run it in reverse and flip you off
  8. Nice, may be we can meet at new concord if everything works well.
  9. Looks like Sunday might be fair weather. Any one planning to ride, let me know if you don't mind me joining. Or we can meet up somewhere in the middle and get out for a ride around 300+ miles at a fair quick pace ( absolutely not ideal for beginners) Any thing works as long as we ride.
  10. The post counts from you guys in OR reminds me of this news https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timeinc.net/fortune/2017/01/16/world-richest-men-income-equality/%3Fsource%3Ddam

    Gap trip, now

Heard some news the actual gap might be closed on and off till end of April. But plenty of other options around so not much of a miss. Good luck and ride safe
  14. Sp is the way to go. Good call, you might be short but not at all a short brain like me when it comes to 2 wheel OCD
  15. Thank you for this thread; was starting to get pissed stuck at work on a beautiful day.
  16. there is an old indian saying, A wife with an affair wants the husband to make the snake rattle.
  17. now we feel less guilty that he was left out on the fun day hahaha but i think he was having a ball with the form and bubbles, literally Thats an impressive feat, and sharing a mototrip together will be the best way to reward yourself. I strongly recommend being connected via intercom which really enhances the experience as well as boost the safety factor. Also makes travel on two wheel way more easier together. No more crappy hand signals. thanks J, wish i was living where u live. then i dont have to waste time editing out so much boring long sessions. i have a feeling you will always be a strong yammie boy step up to an FJR will be the first step to 2 up travel bliss.
  18. Second major ride in feejer, and decided to go 2 up. Last Friday since the weather was gorgeous and seeing the wide comfortable rear seat on the feejer, wife expressed her wish to join me for a short ride. Now she hasn't done that after we became parents. To be clear I am still talking about motorcycle riding. And so we scrambled to finish work earlier and off we went for a short 250ish mileloop. She thoroughly enjoyed the ride, the day was beautiful. Never needed extra breaks (hence less pics) and was able to cover many miles in short time and get home before Jr woke up from his ziesta. Handling of the bike was miles better than my first day with a run flat tire. Still need many more hundred miles on it. The suspension changes I made I wonder if it was worth it. I will never know since I went ahead and upgraded everything in winter itself thinking why have down time during our short riding season. Plus I was bored. Any ways here are some pics and a clean ride video with pure sound No tail on fire riding since we are 2 up but still some fun clips. Video: Surprisingly great chicken fries from a gas station. I always get it from there and make an excuse to stop here for fuel. Marathon 152/43 Of course the day finishes with a wash and got some extra little help
  19. he probably forgot the hardness durometer at the garage as well
  20. Vstrom 650, one of the best bike I ever rode. Great for tall guys, engine is smooth, upright easier to ride. Easier to learn on yet have enough power to keep you happy. Look for old models with abs post 2008, or all had abs post 2012. As new rider strongly recommend abs. Can be had for cheap and sold easily too. plus looks bigger than it is and feels "sufficient and not tiny" when u sit in it, and will easily engulf your frame in it. Once it starts rolling it just easiest to ride. The only negative is the stereotyping associated with looks / if your into that sorta thing is, its not the cool colorful college girl magnet flashy looking sports bike. Its more of a mature learned bearded adventurous lumberjack kinda tough bike, wise women magnet
  21. Every year, Always good to see the shots/ and good to know these have a happy ending
