  1. I used to work at CP Halloweekends during college as a fundraiser. Pretty neat to see the "behind the scenes" stuff. I'd love to go up there this year, but I just can't make it with my work schedule. But one of you could, and you could take up to 6 of your friends with the 7 passenger seating found in this fine 1999 Nissan Quest that is for sale here. BUMP!
  2. CL ad is up - bump! http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2614653013.html

    Deer Season

Well, train season is a twelve month affair - almost got three the other night headed through Clintonville - one was a 12 point buck.
  4. Eh, maybe 17 - 20. We get about 300 from a tank in the city or 350 on the highway. And I plan on getting this girl on CL later this week... I've sold Nissans on there before... it's like trying to sell a car where Somolia and India share a border.
  5. Pics I took at the zoo this afternoon: Hope this helps guys!
  6. I've not done a 22RE, but I've done some other valve adjustments. Not difficult, just fiddly. Happy to help.
  7. Well, 7 live ones... as for dead, I suppose you could stack them. And there's the roof rack. Maybe 12 or so? Hope this helps!
  8. Ok guys, went to Nissan North today to see the Leaf since it was there on its world tour, and ended up getting momma a new Rogue. That'll teach me, right? Anyways, we now have out 1999 Nissan Quest for sale. I worked at Nissan North in service until I hired out on the railroad, so this van is impecably maintained. Up until this most recent oil change, only serviced there. Has just over 100k on it, Michelin tires with less than 20k on them, newer brakes up front, in-dash DVD player with a 9" screen that drops down. Power windows, locks, cruise. Ice cold A/C. Seating for 7 - has the built in car seats in the middle row - very rare option, although we've never used them. Silver. We bought it with about 83k on it two years ago - great for a family starting out, which is what we bought it for. Silver in color, some minor rust starting on the doors - pretty common on these Quests. I'll have pics soon, and will be putting it on CL too - just thought someone on here may be interested. I'd like to start at the top of the market - $3200. I don't think you'll find a better one - we spent months looking for this one. I'd drive it anywhere - wife takes it to Toledo about twice a month without any issues. PM me for any details.
  9. What kind of vehicle is this 22RE in? Pickup or Celica? Either way get a valve cover gasket and we'll tackle this mess together. Think about plugs and wires and that stuff too- the kind of stuff you would take off to do this.
  10. Yeah - no kidding! We're sitting on a train stopped, so I break out my Cafe Racer magazine. Matt's like, you're into bikes? So we get talking about that... before too long, OR comes up - he's like wait a minute - who are you? Come to find out we've had conversations on here before . Ha! And it sounds like you two know each other from the V-strom world. I told Matt that you and I went to Jr High and High School together. Nuts, right?
  11. Man I'm glad this is motorcycle related. I thought when I saw this on Facebook... well, I thought terrible things about where OR is going.
  12. Thanks Matt- good to work with you too! And you're not as bad a train driver as your name indicates. I appreciate the kudos - means a lot to a new guy. Well, should have an update later today on here - not too much going on, but did get some stuff in the mail today, so we'll get into those boxes. Plus I need to get the last round on eBay...
  13. I have a set of turbocharged rearsets that would work splendedly with this...
  14. 7-9 and 4-6? More like 24 hours a day. Being from Toledo, I thought Michigan drivers were bad (up until the 90s they didn't have a driving test up there, just written) until I moved down here. Columbus drivers are horrible. And I've driven in Atlanta.
  15. I wish I'd have thought of this... here I went and rented a Uhaul to get the Virago home. Could have saved $60!
  16. That's a sharp bike for $900!
  17. We cancelled the disc too. Keeping the streaming for now, but who knows. Here's the deal - I'd pay $20 a month for streaming with a smile on my face if they streamed EVERYTHING. They have such a weird collection of streamed movies... and they lose Starz soon too, which will make the selection slimmer - mostly TV. I just keep it because it gives me something to watch in the hotels, but if it gets bad I'll find something else to watch on regular TV.
  18. I love it. Columbus drivers need this on every freeway and major road.
  19. Well, got a wild burr today and did a little work on Midnight. Took the tank off: Then unhooked all the hand controls that were still sitting on the floor tied onto the bike and pulled out the carbs: Finally pulled out the coils and the main harness leaving a naked frame! I marked all the tabs for removal. I think my next step is to get my work bench built so I can take the frame off and work on getting it ready for the bike. I'm waiting on some more parts for the bike from eBay and have a couple of more little things to order yet... ended up ordering a TL1000R front wheel with a bent lip ($20!) to have my fab shop graft to the XJ1100 wheel to build the front wheel. This way I know everything will fit (rotors/axles/etc). I also need to order a front axle as the front end I bought didn't come with one. More to come (although most likely pics of a work bench being built)!
  20. Hmm... design flaw? I'd think it'd be better around the rear sprocket.
  21. The one I watched they caught the guy hot-boxing in the car and he took a break after the 3rd question to smoke up again. Wonderful.
  22. That pick is of a broken leaf spring. I'd worry about that?
  23. Or maybe just an aluminum plate a-la motorcross? That would be dirt nasty!
