That was absolutely top rate. I hated that guy until that moment. Then I felt like a dick. Just watched the final episode with the wife, glad Mike didn't win. Don't know how I'd feel about him getting a second chance only to come bck and win. I don't know that ANYONE else on that show this season could have beat Dustin's perfromance. Amazing. Kind of liked him to win from the beginning - very even keeled and laid back.

Those carbs are terrible to tune. Sorry, but good luck. I'm using Mikunis on mine - not much better to tune, but much more versitile and very, very well supported. I also have the luxery of using only one, which I'm doing.

Uhm... maybe I'm the weird one, but I think it looks ok. Others have said it, I've seen much worse looking bikes. Hell, I've owned and riden much worse looking bikes. The V8 is just novelty. Very similar to that new V4 bike out there... Motus?

Yeah, I've seen that... just checking the tube before I order anything else. My car sat a lot before I bought it, so it would have an opportunity to build up.

I just got a Rogue for my wife. Looked hard at the Hyundai Tucson and the CR-V, a little bit at the Subbie Forester and the Rav4. I worked at Nissan for three years and know what goes wrong with the Rogues (nothing). My wife loved the one we test drove a year ago, bought ours sight unseen. Love it. Interior space in the Rogue is bigger than the Murano until you get to the cargo area. I'd give the Rogue a look. PM me and I can put you in touch with the dealer I worked at/bought from.

Doing a little maintenance on the Sable, and I'd like to clean the EGR tube. Getting an EGR code and I want to eliminate this before I spend money on anything else ($3 gasket if I'rm ight, $80+ parts if I'm wrong - the old Maximas had a similar design and had this problem). Having some trouble getting the tube out, thought I'd bounce it off you tech-minded guys. Pic's worth a thousand words: I can obviously get the top of the tube off, just by removing the EGR valve. I can't for the life of me think of how to get the bottom off. It threads into the rear exhaust manifold, nut is about 7/8" +/-. I can get a wrench on it, but can't really turn it. I was thinking of a tie-rod end type tool, but my biggest one is 17mm. Once it's out, I'll put some anti-seize on it and it will be much easier to get in, so I'm not concerned about that. Thoughts?

Talked with Meanie on the phone... sounds bad These Altimas are known for this issue, as stated previously. The 0731 is a U0731, which is a CAN code. Probably got set when the Altima stalled or when the car was being started - unrelated. New plugs, monitor the oil, drive it till the block splits down the middle.
