I never put away for winter, good antifreeze a must. Ride in good weather and conditions, no salt or grit on the road. Wait for a good rain after salt & ride once streets are dry. Rode around 1000 miles between November and March. last winter.

A lady who works for me, about the same age as me thinks my bikes are scary death machines. She tells me that I'm an excitement junky and to slow down & act my age. When told her all about our ride to Newark and points south, she replies that sounds scary and dangerous. I asked what she did that Saturday. Stayed inside and made vegetable soup it was too cold for anything else. I didn't know what to say.

That poor innocent Thunderbird it did nothing to deserve that.

Did it 5years ago two up with wife on the FZ1 with daughter & son in law on his Blackbird. Nothing scares me now. Those creek crossings are badass, water shot over my windscreen on the third one.
