No birds yet, but managed to get two bees in the neck and ran over a Bunnie and a ground hog. Both were at night and I pretty much had no choice but to crank the gas and take some weight off the front end so I would go over easier. Was behind a buddy on the easy down to Chillicothe in 08 and he hit a seagull with the fairing of his Harley full dresser, friggin thing just exploded and I got to ride through the feathery, gooey debris field....when we got back to the camp site he had a two-piece dinner lodged in his brake linkage for the forward controls.

Got my plastics back from paint today, must say Rob at robs recycle did a great job. Tore the carbs down and housed everything out with cleaner, changed plugs, next is tires, clutch and oil, then put the rest of the fairings on and hopefully play hookey and ride most of the day tomorrow. Anyone in the Akron-canton area should hit me up.

Those were sweet bikes, a bit over complicated and heavy but still a rare and interesting piece of machinery. Side note, I see you brew as well, got any void recipes to trade?

I think a lawsuit is a dumb idea, your kid got his shirt ripped and a bride on his arm. Those are your damages. No judge is going to take you seriously. Kids get into fights, kids get bullied, its just what happens. I used to get bullied till I put a kid through the trophy case in front of half the school. Teach your kid to stand up for himself, don't set a pussy example by running to the courts.

Anyone in the Akron/canton area have a manometer (carb sync tool) they wouldn't mind loaning out or possibly bringing over for a few hours? Delicious home-brewed beer will be provided, or I'll toss some sausages on the grill, or both. Trying to get my bike in shape for the season, will be cleaning the carbs and setting float height this week and want to put a good sync on them this weekend.

This. Nobody really cares about the parts you wanted for the bike when it was yours, let alone pay for them. Not being a Dick, just saying, people always want to charge more because they bolted a bunch of aftermarket doo-dads onto their bike.
