  1. I always wear plugs when riding and I still have tinnitus something fierce, but my hearing is very good.
  2. If a rider is not in a hurry, there are some great routes out that are actually quite nice. Being that I have no desire for ironbutt mile riding days, I am looking very forward to hoofing it out one of these days. And from the pics and stores I see and hear, it is well worth heading out no matter how you do it.
  3. More like some Italian guy named Luigi.
  4. Great, now I am scarred for life.
  5. Yummy bike, man how I love race twins!
  6. Quite mesmerizing I must admit.
  7. I did that for Hoblick, he knew I was not keen on it either. That big girl does not like trailers, she wants to stretch her legs out and get you speeding tickets.
  8. Don't you dare put that bike on a trailer again!
  9. Many claim they are innocent in prison, and just a product or victim of society. Some people have died from actually wearing a seatbelt, but the overwhelming majority of those who wear a seatbelt survive. Sure there have been some innocent people sent to prison and put to death, but I wonder what the ratio for innocent compared to guilty would be? System is not perfect until crime ceases to exist, but no doubt justice is being served more often than not when comparing guilty to innocent. What is there in life that is infallible, does such a thing exist? We go to war to kill the bad guys and or to protect our country and way of life and freedom, is the death penalty really any different? Prisons are overrun and over capacity, and rehabilitation is a joke to say the least. I want to see statistics for repeat offenders and those that end right back in prison, will surely prove my point.
  10. Have an old highschool buddy that just bought one, he says it is one bad ass machine.
  11. Sometimes I really like the vigilante justice option, and in many situations it would no doubt be justifiable. Some real life punisher's out there could really make a dent in our lawless society, but NO that would just be too uncivilized and unjust in the eyes of many. Guess the much better option is to overfill every single prison system in every state beyond capacity, and let us continue to not give those a chance who can actually be rehabilitated, because they are mixed in with the life sentence felons and other pieces of damaged goods garbage. Give the bad guys something to truly fear, let them become the prey for a change.
  12. Dead reliable too...and GLWS, he will no doubt love the XDS.
  13. Love my current steed, but must admit that the latest 1200GS really gets my blood pumping. More than likely I will probably end up with another V-Strom, just love the damn bikes to death.
  14. Love my XD9SC, will NEVER sell it. GLWS.....but as idodishez already said, "So get an XDS and keep this one too"?

    Damn....rough crowd.
  16. It was all just a bit too disorganized for my tastes, plus considering how HUGE my group was at one point due to unfortunate incidents "but we had no wrecks". I think the crowd was a bit larger than expected, and then not enough people were willing to lead a group. Leading groups of that size is really tough, add in not knowing riding experience and the fact that many are a bit rusty and have not ridden much that early in the season. I may not come this year, but if I do....I agree that Fall might be the best time for several reasons.
  17. Laws written with gray areas and up many times for interpretation, oh I how I loathe many lawyers and lawmakers,
  18. So how was your Columbus weekend Sam?
  19. Yeah I very obviously noticed that too. LOL
  20. If it is somebody that I regularly ride with in a group and know their skill set and habits, I have no problem with us all passing and changing positions. Of course I am not a big fan of group rides, therefore it is usually never more than 4 of us together.
