I wasent going to go to this either Brandon but trying to get everyone else to show up is a motivating factor.

I have an extra as well, but I don't think its ever a requirement, however it is suggested.

I wouldn't worry about cost too much. If you want, someone can pick you up and tow you to the track. Also N2 has an intro class which lets you do a couple sessions for free, then if you want to you can pay and ride the remainder of the day.

I was going to go in on a rental with 9 other drivers for a car track day awhile back but that kind of fell through. If I remember right it was $2,000 for the day but you got no corner workers, ambulance or anything like that. Those could be added but of course the price goes up. They said that they did repave a couple small sections and that we could come walk the track if we wanted before we rented it but we never took advantage of it. Also they said that they could only have 6 cars on track at a time due to their insurance.

It will require a bike number to register, you can pretty much pick whatever number you want and you can put it on with painters tape or something the morning of the day.

Killer route.... How were the road conditions?

I spoke with some guys at N2 and they said that they only have 5 intro spots but none of them are claimed yet for these dates. Also if you do sign up for the full day it would be at a discounted rate. So depending on where you live you are getting a free trip to and from the track, 2 sessions free to try it out and if you want to sign up for the rest of the day its at a discounted rate. Doesnt seem like we have a whole lot of interest yet for first timers.

haha with those two combined they might make a legit set. Unless somehow the new ones get here tomorrow but I just bought them this morning. nvm, tracking info updated and they will be here Monday.

Yup, I was thinking of skipping august at pirc to go hit up other tracks until a few other guys thought they might show up to PIRC.

haha I guess there are different ways of looking at it. But I really need to pick up my pace there.

This free trial group is for the street rider who’s unsure about signing up for a full day of riding. The Intro group attends a Novice classroom session and gets on the track for two 15-20 minute Novice riding sessions in the morning rotation. There is no bike preparation requirement; however, participants are required to pass technical inspection. This is what I found on the Intro group.

We might need to figure out the logistics.

No I am not a CR. N2 sells Track Day packages in the winter and there is a group of us from on here that pick them up. 12 days for 1600 or something like that. Plus you get an elite membership with N2. Are you coming our of retirement for August?

The new section of track is a blast to ride but its also alot of work. Doesnt seem like you ever get a break on the full track.

N2 will be at PIRC on the 27th and 28th of August and a couple of us offered up towing bikes or whatever else is needed for free if its your first track day. So who is in?

haha you KNOW I would pick you up whenever you wanted to go do a track day. I miss riding with you brother!

If there is a group of 2 or 3 of you within an hour or so that want to go I would go out of the way to pick you up as well. I can fit 4 bikes in the trailer and have enough canopies for everyone who would be there.
