  1. Any spots on your trailer or in your truck? I'll dress up real pretty for you gentlemen.....
  2. Dan and I are both looking to solidify our plans for the trip to the Gap. Currently I think I have a spot in Cmh Sprint's cabin, though I just messaged him to confirm and I'm awaiting his reply. If that slot happens to have been filled, Dan and I could split a cabin with someone else that might be interested in making the trip. I currently don't know how I'm getting my bike and myself down. If anyone has room on a trailer and a seat in a vehicle, I'll happily chip in my share for the gas. I rode down last year with another group outside of OR. I'd prefer to not do that this year, but will if necessary.
  3. They're Illustrator files (.Ai) NinjaDoc. I'd be glad to share them if you can use them. I like Derek's comment about a common logo, with annual changes or flavor. But I think that relies on naming the ride, then coming up with the ride logo, then coming up with both a Spring and Autumn design each year. Personally I think it's been called Epic Ride from the start, it should stay Epic Ride. Just my opinion. I think having a Spring Epic Ride and a Fall Epic Ride each year makes sense. Many things are Epic. Just cause it happens twice a year, doesn't make it any less Epic. Just my $.02.
  4. And feel free to say you like NinjaDoc's better. I get my work criticized all the time, so I'm used to it. I was just playing around with a new style that you see used a lot currently. And I always like cafe racer silhouettes, hahaha.
  5. I'm a graphic designer for a living, so I'm always looking for things to spark creativity and inspiration. I thought I'd play around with this for a bit last year for one of the rides and never got around to posting it. I just updated those to this ride. Not trying to stop on your toes NinjaDoc....hope you don't take it that way.
  6. No mj, I was there about a month before OR was. Ok, thanks Tim. Wil do.
  7. Anyone have room in a cabin? Was thinking I might head down with OR this year. Last year was my first time down, and it was awesome. But I missed all of the OR guys. 2015 I'm going to make up for it hahaha.
  8. Damn...I can't believe I missed this. I was just now checking the thread before heading down there in the morning to the meetup. I thought the ride was tomorrow!! Doh! Damn. Well, I'm riding tomorrow if anyone wants to meet up somewhere. Agghhhhahahaha!
  9. Might be interested in this one....probably can do it if it's a little later like noon or 1 meetup. Where is the meet spot?

    8/17 Sunday Stroll

Shit. I'm sorry guys. I completely overslept. Blew straight through 2 alarms. And the weather looks good too. I still may head out, but I'll be well behind you guys. Hopefully you guys can all meet up and put together a good ride. My apologies fellas.

    8/17 Sunday Stroll

No big deal man. I wait for everyone at the intersections where the route changes roads. I'll look for you in the am. But I'm watching the weather. They're saying 50% now. I'll check before I head out and if it's wet or looking like it will be, we'll try again next weekend.

Probably take 377 South out of McConnelsville to 550 and hit some roads around Marietta that Tpoppa showed me. Some epic riding down there.

Well, probably meet around 11 and head that way. Let's say 11 o'clock meet up at SR13 and Route 70, at the BP gas station. That should put us in McConnelsville around 12:30 (probably sooner). We can meet at the gas station next to the shelter house next to the river
  14. Hey guys, I haven't been out in over a month and I need to change that, since apparently winter starts in three weeks. I'm planning to ride tomorrow. Route is pretty flexible, but I'd like to go South of McConnelsville. Some great roads down there. I can meet wherever is good for anyone else wanting to join, but Millersburg tends to be a good place or McConnelsville, depending on where everyone is coming from. Post up and let's put something together. Weather should be great.
  15. Sounds good. I plan to be there but if anything changes, I'll let you know.
  16. I'm in, for sure. Meet at 83/93 at 9:30?
  17. Bummer on the weather. I was reading the thread last minute and thinking I might join. I haven't been out in a month. I'll be there next weekend.
  18. Sounds good man. I'll be looking for you there. Let me know if you are, or aren't coming.
  19. Netherlands and Mexico. Sounds like a powerhouse matchup for sure. I'd probably rather go ride than wait around for a goal or two to be scored.....eventually. Haha! No really, I've been watching every US game. Can't get interested if my team isn't represented. I'm guessing you're a native Netherlander IP?
  20. 13885 NW Reynoldsburg Baltimore Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH That's the address of the gas station.
  21. Meeting (tentatively) at the Shell gas station on 256 near Walmart and the 70 on/off ramp at 9am. From there we'll head to McConnelsville via 668 or 669, where we'll meet 78. Get gas in McConnelsville and then head down 377 and some other roads to Marietta. Then we'll take a few roads that go up and down the Ohio river gradient that are really some of the best roads Ohio has to offer. Route will be flexible based on the riders time constraints, with many places to peel off and head back. But that's the route I'd like to ride. And it's a good one. Pace will be brisk, to extra brisk. Post up if you're interested. If there's no interest, I may not be at the meetup and will head out on my own. Right now there's two of us riding. The more the merrier.
  22. Wow. That's terrible, but it sounds like it could have been worse. If you need any help, let me know. I know the strip of Central Ohio between Westerville and Mount Vernon got around 7 inches over a 48 hour period. I was actually driving on Sycamore Road (between route 3 and 13) when the township told a bunch of us to turn around due to water running over the road. I ignored his warnings, apprehensively, and continued onward. I know that it doesn't take much water to lift a vehicle off of its wheels, so I was probably even more stupid for trying to ford those streams, but I managed to make it home without a boat. There were a couple of times when I thought I might not hahaha.
