  1. Nothing fancy.I don't brine or inject.I keep it simple.3 or 4 smashed garlic cloves and some pepper and sea salt in the cavity.Olive oil the outside.Apple and heavy on the cherry for smoke.Kingsford charcoal and a 30 year old Weber kettle grill.Put the lid on and cook.Pull at 175 degrees and let it rest for at least 15 min.Longer is even better.I also start with a little boiling water in drip pan.Thats it.

  4. http://www.amazingribs.com/recipes/chicken_turkey_duck/ultimate_smoked_turkey.html. Here is a pretty good Q site and his take on turkey.
  5. So glad that it was a just a close one. VFR with linked brakes and Ninja Skillz:bow: I may not have been so fortunate. I generally drift a little to the right when I crest a hill. Just a habit. In this situation it may have changed the outcome. After following you for a few miles,it wouldn't have been the first time that you scared the out of me. This one just wasn't your fault.
  6. Check Craigslist >services>computer laptop repair. Found service I my area that charged 25 bucks labor. We had bought screen on eBay for 25. He even came to house. Yes it was a reputable business. Took him 20 minutes.
  7. No worries Doc. Had good time yesterday. The 18 year old :555:in me is mad cause the old man won't give him the keys:hellno:
  8. Going to have to bow out. Got home after dark yesterday after a romp with Doc. The cold has flared up my arthritis and I don't think I could put in 8 hours of seat time today. Enjoy the day guys and speed safely.
  9. Sounds like a plan. I should be in as of now.
  10. Funny how that vid jogs your memory. I have seen quite a few of those movies.
  11. Fold. Keep playing the hand and you will loose. Plain and simple---None of your Bussiness.
  12. Go to App Store and get this one. Very good tutorial. http://www.screencastsonline.com/appstore/scotutor_for_ipad
  13. Welcome. I've been married about as long as you have been riding. It's slabbin for me. Riding twisties is just too dangerous at my age.
  14. Doc---You making fun of me? That was funny. I did fondle a couple real ones last Saturday. Even sat on a new tractor. If I only had the monies.
  15. You never would have been sent home. If you would have been way off pace I would have suggested to drop the pack and we could have done a ride more comfortable to you. You did everything right. I am glad you finally came out to a ride. Hope to see you on another ride again.
  16. Well we finally got the video done. Thanks to all the OR bubbies that contributed some footage. He was truly overwhelmed by all the fans that showed up. The pace wasn't too bad. Uncle Punk and Jinu may have been a a little board. http://m.wimp.com/streetracing/
  17. The first thing you need to do is---FIGURE OUT WHAT THAT WETNESS IS!! I t sure isn't honeymoon taco lube. Then you can figure out what direction to go. If there is as much as you say take all the plugs out and crank it over. I'm sure you will get spewage. Just make sure your plug wires don't arc out if it is gas. That is unless you have a camera rolling for that YouTube moment. Like big fire.then you will see which taco hole is the luber. When it starts and it starts to smoke like right now--proly not antifreeze. It don't burn. It makes steam. Excess fuel on the other hand makes black smoke.
  18. http://www.yuasabatteries.com/pdfs/TechManual_2009.pdf. Read page 33.
  19. Brian, Go to YouTube and do a search for "Starter Voltage Drop Test". Don't know how to put in link from phone sorry. Please do this before jamming screwdrivers and using jumper cables. You need to do this with fully charged battery. After you sort this. You may want to do a voltage drain test. Your battery could very well be bad. If it is an agm battery it may need more than a tender to fully charge.
  20. Real nice job Doc. You captured the day. Except for the slab ride home. No reminders needed.
  21. Good riding with you guys. Nice to meet some new guys as well. Glad you came Tim. I had a good time following you. You didn't ride slow at all. You road smart. Looking forward to riding with you again. Not too many more days like today gonna come our way---I sad!!
