  3. 👀..Word. He is only rockin 2 spark plugs
  4. Not any more. He is now a track snob and will prolly be carring the mail at an elevated rate of speed.
  5. Gomer and Goober. The Pyle/pile will fit right in until the house breaking is complete. Had a black one in my youth. Barney because we thought he looked like Barney Fife.
  6. http://ama.sprocketlist.com/Yamaha/2666428/tz500-no-parts-included-sorry.html Doc after today you probably will be looking for a track bike. I found one for you.
  7. Looks good. For the stuck key. Get some Lock Ease. It is graphite based. If you have put any thing else in flush it out first. Spray it in and wiggle it around. Be patient and don't force. Just spray and wiggle. It works when nothing else will.http://www.agscompany.com/lubricants/homehardware/179
  8. I also like to read about epic rides. This one is probably the craziest that I have ever read. It is a long post that reads like a book. Really cool ending also. This one shows that it can be done on anything..It appears that they have the thread all chopped up on the ruckus site. Kinda hard to follow now. http://totalruckus.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=12143. They must have lost the beginning of this thread and it starts here. He flew over from Korea, landed in North Carolina, bought a ruckus and took off. Lots of good photos along the way. When you find the photo of all he carried on that little scoot it's like wow.
  9. http://www.ducati.ms/forums/56-superbikes/140566-coast-coast-back-panigale.htmlNice coast to coast coast ride article with lots of pics. On a Panigale!! Oh to have lots of monies.
  10. Again with the grain of salt. If you decide to atteend a mechanics school it is gonna probably mess with everything you learned about engineering. The two but heads in my opinion. I have made a living at fixing things since 1968. All designed by engineers. I have worked with engineers. The one thing that I have discovered is they can't fix what they design. It amazes me how they can make something so simple so darn complicated. One thing on motorcycle that comes to mind---GL1200 Honda starter removal. Step one - Remove engine. On a car---Pontiac Montana thermostat.Step one - Remove exhaust crossover pipe. BTW both of these repairs can be made without doing step ones but it took a mechanic to figure it out. Just a little rub young man. Follow that dream. I hope you attain your goals.
  11. I-4's........v-4's.......Way too many spark plugs.
  12. Holy cow Doc. 5 VFR'S ??? That's like Singer sewing machine demo days.
  13. Strange..........That position generally used for doing clutch less power wheelies on the cult classic VFR'S.
  14. Was a long day.363 for me. The pavement on 250 sucks, blows and bites.I got a pretty good work out today.I now remember why I don't eat in the middle of a ride. makes me feel like crap.Poor Doc was falling asleep. Thanks for the gray pick up truck when I was leading.I do think Deputy Dawg would not have been amused. Thanks for a great day guys.
  15. No let him lead. He will have a much better time. Besides he won't have to listen to that loud ass Harley. . Just kidding Jeff.

  18. Good meeting you Jester. Thanks for a good day guys. About 370 miles for me. Less than 5 minuets after pulling in garage the sky opened up. Dodged a bullet for sure.
