Yes they do and yes it would. The plugs deffinatly show a rich condition. KN filters can cause a rich condition if they are over oiled. Just for shits and giggles put the OEM filter back in and see what happens. Being that both plugs look so much alike it is safe to assume that the condition is common to both. Restricted air intake can cause this. Try it without any filter and see what happens. If you google your problem it seems to come up a lot. Maybe the alcohol in the gas is attacking some plastic in the carb. Look what is happening to Ducati gas tanks. At least go and talk to the dealer and see if they will give you some advice. Some of the plug problem could be from you using high test gas also. Don't buy it. Don't. Use it. You don't need it if your engine does not call for it. For you guys wanting him to throw parts at this thing read the forum tread that I posted earlier. That guy change everything and yes it did come down to the carbs.

158 bucks list and 112 discounted at Bike Bandit. Each. Not cheap. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-KAWASAKI-EX-250-NINJA-EX250-FUEL-PETCOCK-p-/350191312088?_trksid=p3284.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSI%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BUA%252BFICS%26otn%3D21%26pmod%3D330885844178%26ps%3D54 This is your petcock as far as the add says. To eliminate the possibility that the vacuum diaphragm or hose to the engine is at fault. Turn that screw to pri. Which puts it in manual mode and turns it on. See if it helps. If so it is the diaphragm or the vacuum hose. Also do not leave it in this position. If floats stick all the fuel will go into engine when parked. Bad shit will happen when you try and start it. The little gold thing is a screen. As you can see it would not take much to plug this up. Don't think this is your problem. It looks as though fuel is drawn from the very bottom of your tank. My theory is water. When you buy gas and it has water in it it is mixed in from the pumping and what not. When you are riding it is still being mixed up. When you park it settles out and then goes full strength to carbs when you start it. The best thing to do would be to put peacock to prime, put bike to vertical and drain both float bowls using the provided screws. A length of hose on the nipples and a glass jar will let you see if there is indeed water in fuel. This should be done after sitting like all night. Okay since you don't have the facilities you can try this as at least the bike idles now. Sit on bike, full choke.and start. No throttle.hold bars and lean bike( shake ) side to side fairly hard for a couple minutes. Then see if it revs while still shaking. If it does run better do the drain technique. KN filter, after market exhaust and high octane fuel.Ihope you have had it rejetted. If not i bet it is running awfully lean. Yes even running high octane gas when it is not required will lean out the fuel air ratio slightly. This is not related to to your currant problem but something you may want to look into later. If it is not water and you are sure take it back to dealer........You have warranty.

I understand the jealousy but the decision to be one of the Elitist Douchebags is truly an honor. I do think the age had something to do with it. But no matter I'm in. On a serious note thanks for letting me tag along with you guys. I've had a good time.

http://youtu.be/wHTFfRNTZF8 Yes I have pulled trailers. What you are talking about sounds too heavy and too wide. I don't have pics available but I have a harbor freight trailer with a sears car top carrier mounted. 12" tires. Stored inside no rust and very good shape. Pulls very good. I could be talked into a sale very easy. http://www.google.com/search?q=harbor+freight+trailer+with+car+top+carrier&hl=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=zps_UdeTIez_yQH1m4HQCQ&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=480&bih=236#i=3 It looks just like this.

http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/home Thanks for starting this thread Jeff. It got me thinking that its prolly time for a new brain bucket. Boy that one is pretty, that one matches my bike,500 bucks-it must be a good one,its on sale, limited edition signed,on and on. I'm guilty of that kind of thinking too. So I went searching. This site has a wealth of good info.Granted not every mush melon bowl is listed but at least the ones listed are tested for how well they work. Think of a Shuberth and you think good stuff or an Arai RX-7 GP expensive top shelf gear. While they did test good a Lazer model that was over 8 times cheaper than the Arai tested better for overall protection. One thing for sure-no matter which one we choose or how much we spend-I hope none of us really need to test it.

http://c.shld.net/assets/misc/IL36260.pdf http://c.shld.net/assets/misc/spin_prod_540682101.pdf More stuff. Probably more than you will ever need but believe me considering tool truck prices this is cheap without being poor quality. I bought 1 socket Friday off a tool truck a 9/16" swivel impact. 43 dollars and change. Whichever set you choose they will last your lifetime. Craftsman sets are reasonable. When you start a tool at a time the expense goes up big time. One more thing grasshopper---Learn how to use them and they pay for themselves.

Harbor Freight should have given you a certificate of origin. That is all you need to take to the deputy registrar along with ID to get your plate. You can probably do the weigh ticket route also.

Score.We'll give it a try.

Actually I find that to be quite enjoyable. After the comma that is.

Route recommendations to New River Gorge WV and beyond
Al Z. Heimer replied to Chuck78's topic in Daily Ride
http://www.wvstateparks.com/ I will suggest the state parks for lodging. Can't speak for all but camped at Black Water Falls and spent time riding in the area. They had both primitive and electric sites and a lodge. Gorgeous country. Rides set up between Parks would be cool.Like Hailwood said, there are many entertaining roads to be had in Wv. http://wvmountainrider.com/default.aspx -
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1695936&page=11 It seems as though your choice of years MAY have had engine issues. Further investigation may prove to be beneficial.

His murderer also had it to. No matter how good you are or how good you think you are the element of surprise is very strong. From what I read here Chris made a terrible mistake in taking this guy where he did and letting him have a firearm. Tragic event for sure.
