I bet the rotary is dead in cars. With GDI offering safe high compression, and other improvements - piston engines have caught up to the compactness to power ratio, and that was pretty much the only advantage rotary engines had. And I say this as having been a rotard fanboy. Also hybrid and electrics will continue to advance (though it will be slower as gas prices remain low).

qBittorrent. Use to be uTorrent but it got crappy. Some people have concerns about privacy and adware with it now. I find qBittorrent a lot better regardless anyway.

It's replacing rotational mass with more start-stop mass. I'm not sure if there's any difference but seems like the former would conserve momentum better. This design might require a more massive flywheel to smooth out the engine.

I have a CRKT Drifter I use as a beater/work knife. It's been amazing for the $15 I spent on it. CRKT quality in general seems hit or miss though.

I got a deal on a bunch of 60W incandescent and replaced all the CFLs that were in my house. Donated them to Goodwill. Fuck efficiency over having quality lighting. I would like LEDs but I got a crate of incandescents for the cost of 2 or 3 LED bulbs.
