  1. Probably a Ducati Streetfighter S. Maybe a Monster if they come out with the rumored bigger motor. I'm still years away from getting tired of my current bike so who knows what will be available then. I want to try a Hypermotard out but they are so darn tall. Mary
  2. Yeah, we were heading south on 83 at the point. Rode to Coshocton.
  3. Here are the installed pictures. I love the new gearing. Makes the bike much easier to ride especially at low speeds. Love it!
  4. Welcome. How did you end up with the Moto Guzzi? Mary
  5. Yikes. Wind and a Wolf. That's a pretty interesting trip already. Stay safe! Mary
  6. I just switched from Q2's to Q3's and I like the Q3's a lot more. They turn in much quicker than the Q2's did BUT for a track day where you will wear it out quickly anyway, I'd go for the good deal and then buy the Q3's later.
  7. Yes, DID x-ring. I think he got a MotionPro kit. Not sure what brand broke but he like this one more because it presses something in better???? Sorry I could change jets on my 125 in minutes but that's it for maintenance or repair stuff. He likes tinkering and maintenance. I do the detailing.
  8. Yup. That's really what if felt like. We did a three day trip through NC, SC, Tenn, and GA and although there were some really phenomenal roads, WV was still a whole lot of fun. We will be planning more trips that way next year for sure.
  9. I won't be changing gearing often enough to warrant that set up. This bike won't see the track while I own it so this will probably be the last gear change I make.
  10. DAC - you rode further east didn't you?
  11. All of you are completely missing the real issue here, scooter, can am, trike or whatever it is - Do they wave is the real question?
  12. Of my past 5 jobs, I've gotten 4 of them from applying to positions (three of those were for Manager or Director level positions) on Monster or Careerboard so don't discount those so readily. People do still hire from them. Having said that, you really do need to network and get out there. Are you on LinkedIn? If you are, when you see a position posted for a position you are interested in, go and see if you already have any connections with the company you are applying to. If you don't, try to make a connection. As with anything, there are good recruiters and bad recruiters. I've met more bad than good. Try to find one that specializes in your field or industry as they will have better contacts. Good luck to you. Mary
  13. Ha! Of course I put out...... I put out his jacket, I put out his gloves, I put out his helmet. Chain breaker on order. I'll post the on bike pics later. We shortened the gearing slightly so I'm looking forward to trying it out.
  14. Bike jewelry that is. Love it! I've been drooling over this set up for a couple years. Every girl wants a gold chain right? Unfortunately, our chain breaker broke so it's only partially done right now. Mary

  16. Ouch! I hope you make it out together soon. The bikes are our date nights. If we didn't have them, I'm not sure we'd spend anytime away together.
  17. Hmm. I haven't tried mine yet on my GT-Air. I'll have to check it out.
  18. My husband and I finally were able to get out for two evenings together earlier in the week. First time we got two nights away from the kids since my daughter was born 6.5 years ago! We left Sunday morning and came back on Tuesday evening. Rode for two days in West Virginia and the last day in Ohio. West Virginia has Great Roads!! Very impressed. Great sight lines and banked never ending sweepers. Good times! We don't stop much except for gas but here is a picture of some falls in WV. You can also see some of the rain clouds that chased us Monday morning. In WV, we hit 14,36,16,60,41. All of these roads were quite fun. The endless sweepers and banked turns were really a plus. In OH, we hit 26, 800, and 556. 26 has some lane closures and very new pavement (ie asphalt in your front fender - almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard). I haven't been on 800 in a while and had forgotten how much fun a couple of sections are. Did about 265 miles on Day 1, 235 on Day 2 and finished off with about 160 in Ohio. Good trip. Mary

  20. we hit 26, 800 and 556 yesterday and they were all in pretty good shape. 26 has some lane closures and some pavement that is a little too fresh (ie not packed well yet) but it was still ok to ride. The dump truck traffic is really heavy on 26 though so keep that in mind. Mary
  21. Does anybody know current conditions for these roads and any road blocks or construction? Thanks for your help! Mary
