  1. Ya, I'm not expecting too much interest this time of the year, but figured it cant hurt to post it. I'm not too hung up on a price, but I wouldn't let it go for next to nothing. It's a great bike all n all and runs very strong(even on cold mornings/nights) with just a few cosmetic defects. The sooner I can sell it though the faster I can get another bike(unless the wife decides she wants this one) if it was up to me I would keep this bike for work and buy another bike for fun.
  2. Thanks, I love the feel and looks of the ninja, but I need something more suitable for prolonged highway travel
  3. Thanks yall, pics are up . I adjusted the price as was suggested. The bike has around $1,500 worth of upgrades on it tiger, I would rather keep it and teach my wife to ride instead of letting it go that low. She wants to learn to ride, but I'd rather buy her a beat upcheapo bike or a scoot to learn on.
  4. It's a great bike, but I'm looking to get something a bit bigger.
  5. Asking advice on what to do shows I actually cared enough not to rig it up the wrong way or use the wrong parts. My dad ended up doing all the saudering on the bike and nothing is twisted together and disconnecting pairs were used where they should be. A heavy grade(think there are pics one of the links you posted) was used for the final wraping of the wires to keep them from being exposed to moisture. I could care less what some people here think of me, sure I had some fun before and everyone wants to hold a grudge for it. I admit, I trolled the site, but all that shit was a while ago. The bike was well taken care of aside from the one minor slide and anything that was wrong(aka the poor wiring job, which wiring needs to be redone anyhow when upgrade) was fixed the right way to last. Not sure what an online personality would have to do with taking care of a bike. I have meet a few people here, I'm sure they have found me to be generous, quite, laid back and can vouch I didn't ride my bike very hard(quickaccord was with me when I laid her down) I would be more worried about buying a bike from someone who always raced/stunted it and always bragged about how hard they ride it and treat it like junk. I prefer to take care of my things
  6. I did say it was laid down... Everything was installed and sodderd properly. Want to check it out yourself go for it. You act like installing a new clip on and mirror is a tough job. Also doing wiring work is part of upgrading to LED(every single person who upgrades to an LED system HAS to do it) The old owner didn't add a dioed kit or the LED relay(which was purchased) for the hazard probalms. btw anyone can look it up, it is a super common issue on the ninja 250r, actually its an issue on 100% of the 250rs. here is a link to prove it. http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oG7tkG1FxQonoADadXNyoA?p=ninja%20250r%204%20way%20hazard%20led%20problem&fr2=sb-top&fr=yfp-t-701 I also have the paperwork from Vista kawasaki who serviced my bike the first time and from Competition accersories who serviced it the second time. I guess they have no clue what they are doing either, so unless Cheech is doing all the work on someones bike they did a garbage job.
  7. Nope, some were fuel injected, but this one isn't. I'm not sure if the fuel injected ones were only sold in certian states to meet emissons requirement or if they were sold in every state. I do however know they sell FI conversion kits, but those are quite pricy. I have never had a cold start issue and never had to touch my choke, so seemed kind of pointless.
  8. I am selling/trading my ninja 250R. I am the second owner(bought at 643ish miles) The bike now has 3,800+ miles on it. It was layed down once on the right side and does have some rash from it and a small ding in the tank. I have had the bike serviced twice since owning it. once at 1,200 miles and once at 3,400 miles. The bike runs great and the rash can be painted over as there is no cracking. Great beginner bike. Asking $3,000 obo List of upgrades: Two Brothers Carbon Fiber 'Black Series' Slip-on Kawasaki Solo Seat Cowl Pazzo Green Shorty Levers Yoshi Steering Nut and Oil Cap Zero Gravity Dark Smoke Windscreen Factory Pro Jet Kit Pro Grips Custom LED Integrated Rear Light Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Proton Flushmount Front Turn Signals Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines Titanium ProBolt Kit Lil tear in sticker from using the helmet lock quite often. tiny dent from the tank slap. The dark green is just plastic filler(easily removed just using fingernails) and it is also used over some other minor rashes. Here you can see the rash spots in dark green, all very minor. Here you can see the rashing on the muffler bracket. I also have the stock windscreen, stock seat, stock muffler, stock levers, stock signals and some other stock parts for the bike. The toolkit is included aswell. Here are what people paid for their new ninjas from a dealership(remember tax, shipping and all the other hidden charges) http://www.kawiforums.com/ninja-250r/187626-help-out-door-price-2012-250r.html A new ninja 2011r 250R SE was $4,200 + 1,000 or so in fees making it $5,200 OTD + $1,500 in upgrades = $6,700. This is for the people not interested in the bike(not my target buyer) that have never owned a ninja 250R new seem to be hating on. My target buyers are women and new riders, not experienced riders. I am asking for less than 1/2 what the bike is worth new(with upgrades) , not $800 less than what the bike is worth like some are saying. For anyone buying/selling a bike please do your research, I don't want t to see anyone being taken advantage of

    Scoot-A-Que

If I had a scooter and wasn't working I would go I don't own a vespa, I just figured it would funny to post a hello kitty vespa up. I just ride a baby ninja till I upgrade it next year, hopefully.
  10. WHAT! Stuff like being told to stuff sand down another soldiers shirt to piss them off and making a new sleeping bay on pad and then setting up your bay again about 30 times in a row doesn't make sense? Also, how does a plan changing 20 times in an hour not make sense? Oh, don't even get me started on how much sense getting punished for someone elses fuck up makes sense. J/K, he is right, they will fuck with you(and everyone else) just because they can. I hear they have gone soft over the past few years though from all the stories I hear from new soldiers. Stress cards, WTF...
  11. Practice left/right/about face and if you smoke quit before you leave. Also get used to the phrase "half left face... Move"

    iPhone 5

I like my galaxy, the bigger screeen is a feature that suits me very well. Also being able to use backup batteries for when charging is not an option is great. http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/apple-iphone-5-vs-samsung-galaxy-s3-spec-showdown/
  14. So if your going 10+ mph over the speedlimit and slow down(which is the cops intent usually, especially on the highway) he probably isn't going to give 2 shits are you going to turn around and demand a ticket? lol, cops have more important things to worry about than some harmless person doing a little speeding or whatever the case may be, especially in high crime areas(guessing he wasn't in a high crime area, but still...)
  15. This, I got pulled over plastered once and got let go. Long story short me, another car, 2 buddies, 6 cruisers, 1 dog, some weed, all of us super shitfaced(not the reason we got pulled over, we got pulled over for something we should have never been pulled over for) all 3 of us were polite, both veichiles had the same exact story and the cop had a different story(although his dashcam would have agreed with us) we were just told to hurry up and drive home. They took my buddies weed and that was that. Although, the cop I was talking to almost the entire time saw my military uniform and said I usually let 95% of military personal go, but it's not my call on what's going to happen to y'all this time. I was happy as could be, dayton cops are pretty cool and I never give them any shit. Most cops I have had a run in with or talked to about why they let some people go or not for the same crime mainly look at what is your past record and how respectful you are. Also when being pulled over I have learned the quicker you pull over(or slow down after breaking the law) the less likely you are to get in trouble.
  16. What's wrong with guys having a drinking contest and then riding their bikes back home shirtless? Nothing bad can come of that...
  17. 35 was crazy thismorning (around 9:30am) cuz of a lil bit of construction in the left hand lane(just past the smithvill onramp headed to 75) so my normal commute of maybe seeing 5-10 cars from the smithville onramp all the way to the 75 onramp there were probably 100+ cars i saw. I was running late to work(as usual) and couldn't pass anyone, we were all doing about 60-65 though(which is the normal flow of traffic on 35) and I noticed there was a clearing in the right lane about a good quarter mile long and no one was touching their breaks, so I go over to the far right lane and crank down on her.... I didn't even see the cop untill it was all the way up on him(cuz I never ever see a cop on 35 on the way to work) So ya, I ended up flying by the cop at about 90mph, but when I got a good look at him he was on the phone just watching traffic, not even caring about his radar lol. I didn't bother slowing down(till I was forced to by cars infront of me) after I passed him either. I wonder how well radar detectors pinpoint bikes though? I've never been pulled over on my bike(although every single day the speedcam on smithville right before airway snaps my picture, I only do 40 past that cam, if they ever decide to send tickets to me I'll probably have a couple hundred or so lol)
  18. He should of flirted with the cop instead of the judge
  19. Lol, not a clue, im just going with the flow in both my leagues. And not sure whatbur talkin about, I havent said shit since ive been back, seems like a bunch of people like to hold grudges though like a bunch of lil school girls though. Oh waaaaaaaaaaa he said the c word a few months ago boo hoo. I love how everyone here thinks they know me and I also love how yall read too much into everything lol.
  20. Yes, take everything so seriously lol. Actually I'm in 2 FF leagues, but this is my first year playing FF. I do and have been running my own football pool(aswell play in other pools & squares) for a while now though, I also tend to be up a decent amount every season. I'm glad to see you know everything about everyone bud. Football isn't all skill based bud, shoot anyone can look in the newspaper and pick all the expert picks(guarenteed they would never ever win a football pool that way) Shoot, there is quite a few new people to football that play in these pools that actually have some nice luck. Like one female picks which team colors she likes the best of the two(and won twice last year) and another guy picks by flipping a quarter between every team(usually placed in the top 3, but never won a pot) So many uptight people...
  21. Wait, we have to bring own spoons? I will probably stop by inbetween jobs sometime when y'all open up. (opposite way between my jobs lol, but not too far out of the way)
  22. you missed nothing at all... This was the good part of the thread lol...
