Cool, I knew about the run off from watching the videos....thought maybe there was something else. Lots of trees, a gully or two and a couple places that look like you could run off the track onto another section heading the opposite direction. About 7 hours from Cleveland....from what I read; members don't have to pay camping or gate fees either....this is a hell of a deal.

Any chance you have a link to the write up? I've done a few searches and haven't hit on anything really relevant. I remember one organization on the NYST schedule last year. Maybe NESBA, not sure tho.

YES! What exactly is a "one all-day track rental for a motorcycle"? I'd imagine it doesn't apply to a STT trackday or anything. I'd be down for a two day deal. How long do these stay active?

Have exhaust springs? Picked up a yosh exhaust and it is missing a few springs. I think they are all the same size; about 2.5 inches un-stretched from hook to hook.

All good. Now that I've got past the winter "i want to ride reaction"; I really need to save as much vacation and money for this summer as I can.

Man, the sessions after lunch are the best ones....you need to follow my lead; sleep in an extra 2 hours and miss the first two sessions, those might as well just be sighting laps anyway.

Crazy, I just got the email about it today....actually otdered a couple days yesterday. Looks like the discount it running till the end of January. We should try to get an OR day planned....weekdays make it tough though.

Another advantage to the gift certificate deal....used mine a day in advance with no late fee penalty, as long as they are not full they will take the cert. I'll never ride Mid-O in the wet, mornings after a cold night are bad enough.

No gate fee, provided lunch, sometimes free shirts....it all balances out and becomes dependent on gas money/time getting too and from the track. If they offer the Mid-winter discount on gift certs again, I'll be picking up a few more.

No there isn't, it is going to be a beautiful, hot and exhausting 3 days.

Not sure how fast their normal track days fill up, I was a little paranoid after seeing those prized private days get taken up in a few weeks time....may have been a little over-motivated and tired of not having a date determined. But at least there isn't a chance of not having a spot, right? Nice! That pretty much accounts for all the bike spots in Dan's truck/trailer unless we can perform magic and get another one squeezed in. Hopefully someone else with a truck/trailer signs up to open some more travel/organization options. i can use my open trailer if necessary. Coming straight out of winter into 3 days is going to be rough, I'll probably end up running 2 days worth of sessions over 3 days.

I'd love to do this and the track day after.....doubting I will have the vacation time though.

I don't really see much of a difference between saying that you are going and posting a when you want to leave/return??? Now I wouldn't recommend posting a personal address as a meet spot in here....thats something that can be done with a text or call. In any case, thanks for pointing that out Chuck.
