  1. Who would keep it so clean then? fuck those white wheels....had them once, never again.
  2. Nah, turbo is too easy to notice....a 750 is a direct bolt in though
  3. I might hang out in intermediate for the first few sessions to learn the track. We really need to get an ironic KOI trophy made and have a presentation each round. "Congratualtions, you were the fastest person in a MotoSeries Intermediate trackday....now grow some balls and ride with the big boys"
  4. Should look good doing parade laps on the new bike though.
  5. Thats a good deal....was considering making the trip out to pick it up
  6. Yeah I think the only thing avaialabe to purchase right now is the race license, Todd is working on a site update that will likely include opening up the schedule purchases. Nelson or Putnam....tracktime is tracktime. At our level, the track isn't the barrier, it is our abilities. You can learn just as much at Nelson as you can at Putnam. Other consideration....if you have been at Nelson a few times, you have established mental "limits" that can be pushed each time out....at a new track you will be starting from scratch.
  7. This will be my first trip to Putnam.
  8. Joe gets some insane shots....never forget cresting into the bowl at Grattan and seeing him standing smack dead center with his back facing me and thinking "that dude is nuts".
  9. I normally make a habit of checking youtube using basic terms like "Jennings GP" and sorting by upload date to try and catch anyone who uploads hoping to get another view of the sessions besides my cameras. I saw a shitload of gopros out in intermediate, probably more than any other trackday I've been to, and all I see uploaded is novice sessions and people running off track in novice......wtf. Thanks for the props on body position. The tail cam facing forward really makes you self conscious of getting the upper body over. Still could be doing better at getting my elbow out, but I'm pretty happy. Only bad thing about it, I have to be at 100% to get my knee down....probably only touched down a half dozen times the whole weekend...and an elbow or two, but that is a different situation.
  10. Coming at it from the perspective of things like cars tend to depreciate even if they are sitting in a garage while you are out on the bike.
  11. It just gets worse... Face the music, sell the GTO....you're hooked.
  12. Yeah, can't thank her enough, the on-track shots turned out pretty damn amazing considering she was outside the fence. Also, like the umbrella girl mentioned, it is cool having a few shots from around the pit as well. Can't wait to see the other shots. I was working on a compilation of clips and the computer crashed corrupting the file....I'll mess around with it again this weekend. Last session of the trip for me: Brando from 0-2:30 with a sweet pass around me on the outside of 9 into 10. Thought Twizted started tailing me at 5:20, but I just realized he doesn't pop in till 9:45 (at least I think that is you) I was getting tired so I stopped in for practice starts for the last two laps...getting better at launching and keeping the revs from bogging, but the last one was garbage. Might take a little while to upload
  13. Those are fucking sweet. Well except for the sad trailer ride one
  14. Jennings got me pumped for the race season....2 months... Second place, who?
  15. Not a big deal...I wasn't sure if you were signaling in or to Dan...but it was aparent when you continued on and it wasn't like I was going to run up your inside into 13 if I thought you were going to pit in. I have a lot more....might try editing a segment complolation of everyone that went down.
  16. Everything turn out well for the private day? looked like the weather went from iffy to perfect
  17. Weekend was amazing...incident filled, but nothing too serious in our group, just kept us all very busy. What everyone says about tire wear at Jennings is true, and doubly so if you suspension is even a little off. My rebound was a little too stiff in the rear and I smoked a new rear tire in six 15 minute sessions, could have flipped it and probably got 8 or 9. After a session on the next tire I loosened up the rebound and it cleaned up pretty well. I'd probably plan for 2 day maximum for a rear at a ~<1:30 pace. Still uploading and processing videos. First is a rear view unedited of the 6th session Monday....front camera was dead, but the rear turned out pretty damn sweet; dropped down into the 27's for the last two laps and didn't even realize I was being tailed. Matt and Brandon show up around 4 minutes in. At 10:30 I do a practice start and run my best laps of the weekend with open track ahead. Second video is the Monday OR train.
  18. Was great meeting you, as we get closer to the Mid-O season I'll probably send you a PM....would love to get a tow there.
  19. Was a good thing Dan was there with a towel. Hopefully have some video up tonight....not of the facial.
  20. Only missed a session and I was back out there Oh and if anyone wonders why my brake res is covered in electrical tape, the mount failed a couple sessions before.
  21. All good man, the mock races are a cluster fuck waiting to happen. Hopefully the people who went down in expert and novice are alright as well. Looking back the reason I wrecked is obvious....I even said it a bunch of times over the weekend, I was riding in too high of a gear and pushing hard in turns to make up for it. I'm dumb as hell for not taking a session to pay attention to my revs and reconsider my shift points. Also I expected a hard 211 front to perform the same as a medium slick. Watch to the last second....you will catch a glimpse me jogging away as a rider shoots of and splits between me and the bike.....little frightening in retrospect. I knew all the guys who wanted to start in the back were coming, just wanted to get away from the edge of the track.
  22. Unofficial races went: Expert: 1 turn Intermediate: 2 laps and I bit it pushing to catch up. And a target fixate runoff following me. And a super moto that needed picked up. Novice: Couple turns.. I was busy figuring what needed fixed on my bike You didn't miss much....for the mock races.
  23. I think the ginger Rossi had you on last session king, it was epic watching t1....so sad I missed out on the last sessions. BTW were you first across the line before the red was shown?
  24. On the road home for the second time...couldn't have been a better weekend. Should have a bunch of videos to put up.
  25. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING READY FOR THIS! *bike is still in pieces
