  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GoPro-HD-HERO2-Silver-Combo-Bundle-Outdoor-Edition-Motorsports-Edition-Cam-/221186027195?pt=Camcorders_Professional_Video_Cameras&hash=item337fb6eebb Been thinking about picking up another gopro, and I came across this on ebay. If anyone is interested, please shoot me a PM.
  2. I want that 04 gsxr, but have no room for it
  3. We had bacon wrapped mini sausages for the game. So good.
  4. Or pick up a set of used leathers on the cheap before the season starts. There are great deals popping up here and there. Also, I'd bet you will be coming back after the first day at the track.
  5. Almost 7hrs away, but do want. Videos look interesting.
  6. good point I think it also messes with antisquat along with swing arm angle and sprocket size.
  7. Don't people normally shoot for shorter wheelbase?
  8. BTW let me know what date you are thinking of going and I'll try to make it.
  9. I haven't had any experience with tracktactics, so I'd have to say do your first day with motoseries. My second trackday was at PIRC with European Motorcycles of Pittsburgh, and I have to say, stay the hell away from dealer run trackdays for your first day at the track. They seem to do nothing to really benefit new riders. I dumped my bike in the first session because of new tires and stupidity, so I backed down to novice to wear them in slowly.....there were idiots passing on the inside and outside of turns IN NOVICE. There were a couple instructors helping out some riders and getting people moved up to intermediate, but there was NO structure to start out....the exact opposite of MotoSeries novice. MotoSeries covers the basics in the classroom and starts off the first session with a mild pace. It may be a bit redundant and a slow for you since you seemed to have no issue with the pace we were riding on the street, but don't worry it increments up each session. They will switch groups around based on observations, if you speak up you will go faster earlier. By the end of the day you will hit your comfort level from the street and gradually push past it. If the turn out for novice is light (im not sure how turn out is at the start of the season) you may get some one-on-one time on track with a instructor, ask them to leapfrog so you can set your own pace for a lap. They can observe your riding, then lead you around slightly faster the next lap. It helps to get past mental barriers we set for ourselves. After that you can get some really good feedback from the control rider as well. But just like the street, back off if you feel like you are past your riding limits. Can't wait to see you out there on the track, you planning on running the VFR?
  10. Been in the area for a little over a year, only experienced last years warm winter. The last day with motoseries we started riding while frost was on the ground and I was fine with it.
  11. I used to fly and still have a few nitro heli's(Kyosho concept 30 & 60) I cant comprehend how you can maintain orientation besides muscle memory for maneuvers. On a flight simulator I could do some of the things he is doing, but a good 99% of the time after a minute I would lose orientation and barely recover or plow the thing straight into the ground. Thought about picking up a kit and building one, they have got surprisingly cheap if you don't go name brand on stuff.

Never heard of it, here is a very short comparison to the GoPro. Turn it up to 1080p. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Bb6PN1A1gY
  13. Thanks again! This calendar made me look up this:
  14. Like the title says, looking for a straight front wheel from a 01-05 gsxr 600/750. Chips and dings are fine, with or without rotors is fine as well.
  15. FTFY I'm trying to ease my withdrawal by watching all the raw footage of the trackdays I attended last year.

You wont notice the drag on the helmet with either. I hate having the camera mounted to my helmet on the street, I move my head entirely too much. Never tried it on the track. Here are a couple comparison videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGxYJuSCKJc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCK5wqEeezQ
  17. never but I have been caught in hail as big as marbles.
  18. Friends came in from out of town, doubt I'll be able to make it at this point. Have fun guys.
  19. I hope he doesn't hurt anyone when he goes down.
  20. I'd love one of these, but 4 bikes would be too much. GLWS
  21. any chance you are interested in a 03 yz250?
  22. oh well, thought I could keep it just in case, guess I do have other good spares already though. Maybe I'll keep it in the tail of the street bike.
  23. Two sets of brake and clutch levers came in today. Which is a good thing, because I broke the stock clutch lever over the weekend when I stupidly tried to straighten it without heating. Luckily, it is just the tip of the lever. Oh, to take the next step toward building that stand I need to pull dimensions and model up a portion of the bike.....and it is too damn cold after shoveling the sidewalk when I got back. Maybe tomorrow after I get home from work.
