  1. I didn't even make it through the video.... Just because someone makes a movie with violence doesnt mean they condone it, and it doesnt mean they cannot speak out about it. Yeah, it is fun to point out someone as a hypocrite, especially when it is a douche-bag celebrity who has hours on film that can easily be referenced, but they get the same gut reaction that we get when seeing something horrible like a school shooting happen. Part of everyone wants to blame something bigger than a single person, but that it what caused the shooting.
  2. Thanks guys! The wait to get it on the track is going to be killer.
  3. yep, and the forks will get switched too. No big deal, didn't even mount the reservoir on the old bike. I'll probably wait till the first couple track days, then order more springs and respring the street bike as well.
  4. Went and picked it up yesterday from a guy in Kentucky. It was a passed around between a few people on the assfaultjunkies forum previously. Needs a little love, but it will get the job done.
  5. Thought u would be happy Nivin, guess I dont have an excuse now
  6. Now that the snow melted off, I started tearing down the "new" to me bike. Nothing major is wrong from the outside(knock on wood). Luckily I still have all the fasteners from my 01, because this bike has random steel shit throughout that needs replaced. The street trim will be going back on the old bike, and the one in the photo will be the track whore.
  7. I asked Santa for rearsets, but apparently elves don't have allen keys to remove them from bikes.
  8. In SC right now Judging by the map, Greenville is about a half hour from some awesome roads. Hoping to move down here next year.

    wtb 50 dirtbike

A bit too far for me to travel. I'd like to find something on the eastern side of the state.
  10. appliance dolly makes things so much easier to move One thing to be concerned with is headroom and you descend, depending on the height and dimensions that might cause more of an issue than width.

    wtb 50 dirtbike

I've been looking around there, actually found a couple in South Carolina(where I'll be heading to visit on Friday) to check out. Little late, but I figured I'd toss it up here to see if anyone knew of one.
  12. Looking for a last minute gift for my nephews, last time I visited we went to a couple bike shops and they were playing around on the dirtbikes and ATV's. One is 4 and the other is 8 but fairly short. A PW50 would suit them, but I'd be open to looking at anything(crf50, JR50, xr50). Would like to keep it around $500 unless there is something really nice out there.
  13. Switching the account to a family plan, or adding a line to an existing family plan may update the current contract.
  14. lucky it is not in the US, the kid on the scooter would be suing
  15. "It's not like riding a motorcycle, where you the rider has to lean," says Kim. "It's more like piloting a fighter jet, where you turn and the plane banks." WTF?
  16. Guess I'm in luck, I didn't touch grass, didn't have enough speed.
  17. OK, I was looking at the $ value certificates, not the passes. My mistake. Guess this brings about the other question...if I do a day of intermediate at Mid-O and a few with MotoSeries, would I be good for a twilight?
  18. I tried using the coupon code with all different values of gift certificates and none applied a discount??? Also, about the max time twilight: "To enroll in one of these events you should have ridden in intermediate or advanced levels at least 3 times in the past 12 months." I hope other tracks/days apply; I'd love to make a twilight, but there is no way I can make 3 days at Mid-Ohio with the scheduling.
  19. hopefully get into novice mid season if not sooner
  20. I've been happy with my 600's, never felt the need for anything more.
  21. Haven't asked yet, I'd feel like a dick calling up Reuben and asking for numbers without ever using his services. I'm debating about sending the rear shock off to him for a refresh, but I really like doing all my own work and accumulating all the required tools. Hell I already have a HPA tank that I can have charged with nitrogen and a regulator and everything else required to do the recharge. I think the table is listing up stock shock and spring data, but having a lighter spring on a 750 vs a 600 in the same model year(04/05) doesn't make sense to me. I'll measure my stock shocks and see how they compare to that table.
