As a follow-up to this, apparently the shooter grabbed a cop's gun and did the shooting. Time to ban police from carrying guns.

I actually think that pulling a Switzerland and making military service out of high school compulsory might be a good idea. It may straighten a few people out and at the very least educate people on guns and the proper handling of them. So is banning texting while driving but they passed laws on it anyway. They've banned weapons before and they'll do it again. Espcially since every day we hear about more and more shootings due to the hypersensitivity of the media...and then you have jackholes out there setting shit on fire and shooting at the fireman. A NJ police station was shot up today with 3 officers being shot. These things are only exacerbating the problem. I don't want a ban, I don't agree with a ban but IMO to believe that it will not happen is naive and wishful thinking. Obama is bent on getting rid of guns. At BEST they'll impose strict licensing restrictions with ongoing fees that most people can't afford. The fuckers can't agree on finance issues and balance a budget but sure as shit they'll agree to some sort restiction in record time.

There WILL be a ban...it's just a question of what will be banned and what the ancillary stipulations are.

I actually have the PC version I started playing a bit on xmas day. Pretty fun...there are a few things in the UI that bug me but it may be different on a console. Even so, I would recommend it. GLWS.

I'm not sure why so many people are anal about this stuff when the majority will sell or wreck the bike long before any negative impacts would manifest themselves, if ever. I follow the manual that came with the bike. If it's good enough for the people who designed and built the thing, it's good enough for me.

I'm keeping the pmags NIB for now...ya never know, ppl might start paying $75 or more for them. At some point, I may be convinced to let them go. I'm not that hung up on have a 30 round mag. I have a few colt mags unopened as well.

^^this...I bit the bullet (pun intended) and picked up 2 extra pmags for $25 ea. Fuck it.
