I've never seen one of those...pretty sweet! The buyer would have a pretty unique bike...I'm sure it draws attention. Might not fit under the tree though.

A few years ago I spent $1200 on a plow system for my ATV (not to mention the $7k for the ATV) and I've been able to use it all of twice. Hell, the one time I even plowed my street just to get some more use out of it.

I'd love to ride one. At some point in the next few years I'm going to pick one of these up or a R1200GS.

I was actually thinking about doing a ride tomorrow morning because of the change in weather coming.

That's because the first two sentences are in reference the "if you wear an expensive watch you're a douchebag" mindset. The latter is how I see it and although I didn't specifically call out jewelry it holds true for that as well. Overall, not well stated on my part, I agree. Posting at work while on a call FAIL.

You can say the same thing about any piece of jewelry. They serve no purpose other than decoration and an ostentatious display of wealth. technically the same can be said for name brand clothing, higher-end cars, etc. You can find cheap versions to serve the same purpose. An expensive watch is also an investment. Many of them hold their value if not appreciate over time (assuming they are cared for), mostly due to the precious metals and jewels. Opulence, I has it.

Well, I'll say it was a bit brisk today. I need to invest in some cold weather pants and gloves. A baklava wouldn't be a bad idea either.
