Me too. I know next to nothing about them in terms of what's good/bad etc. I'm intimitely familiar with my 9mm Sig P-226 and that's about it. I should take some classes.

Brick and mortar stores generally do have higher prices...for good reason. They have more overhead like paying sales clerks who assist customers in sizing so they can go buy it cheaper online. I'm all for getting a killer deal online, but I'll also pay a little more at the local shops so they'll still be around when I need something TODAY. I've only been to IP a handful of times because it's just not that close but I've found them to be anything from a rape house. Certainly better prices than most of the dealer shops.

Try splitting the keyboard. Then your can type with your thumbs. A guy at work had an iPad, had the same complaint and sold it for a BB Playbook. One day I was showing him something on my iPad and he asked me how I split the keyboard. I showed him and next thing you know he shows up at work with a new iPad. That was right when the iPad 2 came out and he still has it.

I think I may just keep the 2...there's nothing that compelling about the new one. The size of the 2 doesn't bother me, I'm happy with the vid quality and I already have all of the accessories.

My wife wants one. Loves her iPad but wishes it was a little smaller to fit in her purse to carry around. The iPhone screen is just a little too small for long web sessions, reading and watching movies. I bet they sell a shit ton of them. I use my iPad over my laptop/pc 90% of the time. The only time I get on the computer is to do photo editing, video editing or some other task better suited to a larger screen and keyboard. For web, email, games, etc it's perfect...no boot time and easy to carry around the house when multitasking.

I'll prolly sell my Hero2 and get the black edition...trying to figure out if it's worth it.

Right. I just got the underwater housing, the LCD bacpac, and the battery bacpac. I wonder if the batteries/bacpacs are interchangeable? **EDIT**Well, I found my answer...sweet. **Edit 2** clarification - compatible with the LCD TOUCH bacpac, not the regular LCD backpac

Dish should have proactively notified you when they are dropping networks due to dispute. AMC (most annoyingly I might add) points out often during commercial breaks that AMC and the program you are watching is not available on Dish. They are hammering it hard, obviously trying to pressure Dish. I had bad customer experiences with Dish and would never go back to them.
