  1. No, assumed it wasn't directed at me since I said I wasn't attending
  2. Well hell, @Tonikif you're going I might have to show up to offset the dome of hate
  3. I secretly hoped to be able to make this but it's not going to work out. I need to make a run to IP at some point and thought I could make the trip even more worthwhile by attending this but you guys will have to party on without me.
  4. I agree...while you can't have too many guns, I certainly don't need more than I have. I really need to shoot them more...haven't popped off my AR in over a year
  5. Still doesn't say "supporting member" under his join date
  6. I'm sure @Tonik is...haul up a thermos full for me
  7. Meeting with the guy this evening...probably pick up this weekend. No supermoto conversion...as Tim stated this bitch is getting dirty. I might have to make some trips to Wayne after I sort out which trails are suited for bikes. I'd really like to take a trip out west (likely CO) in the next few years and take this and the Tenere. Cruise the mountain roads and hit the back trails. It's on my bucket list at least.
  8. I just gave you rep (it's a start)
  9. BOS bikes do make good track bikes though
  10. I got an email from ADATA today...they are have a RAM sale on Amazon - 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3 1600MHZ http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F902ON2 Pretty darn cheap! Deal ends 3/16 FYI - I have no stake in this deal...just passing it on

    Hellmutt bday

Happy birthday...had I known I would've grabbed your ass or something yesterday
  12. I agree with whaler on this one. Sounds like they 'prepared for shipping' but didn't 'ship'. The company I work for is one of the largest mailers (mostly letters) in the Midwest and we have the same trailers for various couriers. However, the mail/packages are sorted by priority and promise date and those that are promised to be there by x time damn well better get out the door when the are supposed to, even if the truck has 1 package on it. These large companies have contractual agreements with the couriers to pickup outgoing packages/mail regardless of volume (i.e. trailer may be partial load). I have ordered from MSS in quite a while but have a lot in the past because much of the stuff is shipped from Louisville and gets here quick...I guess that's true if the actually ship it quickly.
  13. I'm getting old...not as old as Bill but still old
  14. Hellmutt, the company name I was trying to think of is aerostitch.
  15. Good time...nice to meet everyone and see Mr Bill again
  16. K, looks like the weather is going to cooperate...for the most part anyway, so I'll be rolling up on the Tenere.
  17. So how am I gonna recognize you all...I'm assuming no one will be wearing name tags
  18. There are some simple things you can check for yourself... Per Recon's post, hit control-shift-esc and bring up the resource monitor. You can see which applications and processes are hogging CPU and RAM (click on the headers to sort). If you aren't sure what they are (names can be cryptic sometimes) google them. Kill the ones that are not needed (google will tell you - right click on it and choose "end process") and see if that helps. Be careful what you end as it could make Windows unstable and crash - hence the google recommendation (there are also sites like this: http://www.howtogeek.com/139028/which-windows-services-can-you-safely-disable/ ). Certain antivirus and anti-malware apps can really hog up resources, especially if you are low on RAM and have a slow drive so... How much RAM do you have? Right-click on My Computer and choose "properties". If you have anything less than 4GB (I'd be surprised if you did), especially if you are running 64-bit Windows (it should say on the same screen as the RAM amount) then there's a good chance that is a big part of the problem. The hard drive is likely a 5400 RPM old school spinning platter drive and slow as hell. An SSD (they are getting super cheap anymore) will help immensely and for a newer system one of the best upgrades you can make. If you are going to re-install Windows, this is the time to swap drives.
  19. In 2006-7 I lost nearly 100lbs...then I went back to school almost full time while working full time and my diet and exercise went to shit and I gained it all back. After school, throw in a few knee surgeries, achilles surgery and an extremely demanding work schedule for a good while and I haven't gotten back on track since. However, in Jan I got fed up with being out of shape and since the end of Jan I've lost 25 lbs and still going so hopefully in a year I'll be back where I need to be. Been using myfitnesspal to track everything I eat, my workouts, etc which is really good for me and keeps me on track. At work they put in walking desks (treadmills that top out at 2mph with a desk attached to the front so I walk on there an hour at least 3 days a weeks (they book up fast) which is super helpful.
  20. Nice job. The thinner you get the tougher it is to drop more weight. The real trick is keeping it off
  21. Hmmm...their website seems to be down - says "site suspended - this site has stepped out for a bit"
  22. I'm still planning on being there...if the weather's not too bad I'm gonna ride up.
