Nice write up. I researched this a few weeks ago and Sena claims the speakers on the the 10u are the exact same as on the SMH10. You should wear earplugs...it actually improves the sound quality as long as they don't block too much noise. I use Hearos silicone that are rated NRR21. How well does the mic pick up?

The Neotec is hands down the best helmet I've ever owned (and I've had a bunch across the board). Other than being pricey (welcome to Shoei helmets), I have no complaints and I've never met another Neotec owner with complaints. I'll never get another non-modular helmet nor one without the integrated sun shield. People think modular helmets are noisy but that is not the case here. I have the Shoei Qwest helmet as well and it's definitely noisier. I haven't used that helmet since I got the Neotec last year.

Oh man that's a great price...I hope for my sake this sells by the weekend, I seem to be buying a lot of stuff lately.

I think I'm going to end up with one of these eventually. It's a little further down on the "buy" list since my SMH10 still works fine for me but I'd rather have one better integrated with my Neotec helmet with the mic not having to come from outside the helmet.

How much for the Fusion Air boots? I don't see them on your site.

Dredging up a slightly old thread... So now that you've had the system for awhile...what are your thoughts? I need to get a system installed sooner than later so reviewing options right now.

How true to size to these run? My Cortech boots are looking rough...mostly because they are crap.

I guess it's slightly off topic but there's nothing that I hate more than people that neglect/abuse animals. It's sad that so many are euthanized but I'd rather have that than the animals go to people who neglect/abuse them. If it were up to my wife, we'd have like 50 dogs

The 10C battery life is much different if you are running the camera full time. That seems to be pretty consistent among the reviews i've read. Only ~2 hours.

People seem to complain about the app a lot too...the biggest gripe being that you can't preview the camera view (like with the GoPro app) to make sure the camera is properly aimed. Instead you have to record some, watch the vid on a computer, adjust, repeat. etc. I remember doing this on the older gopro and it was always a pain. I wonder how easily it rotates...can it accidentally be bumped, changing the angle or does it lock in?

Or get an Apple watch...

I had some drama. I couldn't connect to the network/internet through ethernet after the upgrade and Windows kept telling me I was on a public network, not private. After dicking around with it for a half hour I finally decided I'd better check the network driver for my ASUS board. A new version was available and fixed the problem. Lucky I had other computers in the house to download it. My Creative SB X-Fi sound card no longer works but I knew this was going to happen as they don't have W10 drivers ready and won't for another few months. Screw them...I just yanked it. The moral is, check your drivers!
