  1. My class was like that scene in "Armed and Dangerous" where they are learning to be security guards. Every question was like: "Say someone lyin' and you know they lyin'...can ya shoot 'em?"
  2. That's a long way to slab it down there (I just got back from driving it and it sucked as bad as I remembered it) and there's always the "WTF do I do if I bite it and break my bike" factor. Been looking at getting a Kendon trailer for some time but haven't had much urgency behind it and right now there are other things I'd rather spend the $ on that would get used more. Probably pick one up next year.
  3. A little late in the game but my wife's vacation shifted a bit and I can probably make this trip pending getting vaca days approved...any trailer room left?
  4. That's cool (except if you're the one that has to pay to replace them).
  5. I bought these a few months ago as I needed a pair of gloves that were a little warmer when the weather turned. I've worn them a few times in the morning the past few weeks when it's been chilly and while they are warm, the finger length is a bit long for me. I didn't think much of it but when I reach for the levers, the glove tips hit the levers and a) it bugs me b) I'm concerned it would delay grabbing the brake in an emergency. So, throwing them up for sale. Otherwise they are super nice gloves that will do the job in a mishap. Since they were only worn 2x's on my commute to work in dry weather, they are in perfect condition. The only difference between these and new ones is the absence of tags. Size: 2Xl Color: Red/white/black I paid $80 new, asking $60 shipped (or $55 local meet/pickup). PRODUCT LINK <--see product specifics here
  6. I think you are good with video/stills anywhere unless it's explicitly prohibited. Audio is where you need to be careful, regardless of where it's being done.
  7. Them there's this...http://lifehacker.com/how-to-block-windows-10-upgrade-downloads-if-youre-not-1730024570
  8. Well, what happened, did you sleep with her?
  9. Isn't recording audio without the knowledge/consent of those being recorded a crime? I think it applies on private property as well but is not quite as black and white...something about whether the people being recorded reasonable expect confidentiality. Be careful with that...as long as no one else knows, you are ok but if someone finds out you could be in deep.
  10. I did a review of a camera called Guardzilla that was ok when I reviewed it and they have made software/app improvements that has made it a bit better. I use it to keep an eye on things when we are away as a supplement to the other security systems we have. It's relatively cheap and easy to use though you cannot access the recorded video remotely, it saves locally on an SD card.
  11. Oh the culprit is a she..I say sleep with her. That ought to teach her a lesson
  12. I'm sure for Enterprise users this is a nightmare. My company moved to Windows 7 just last year so no danger of us getting Win 10 anytime soon
  13. I heard the other day that Microsoft is going to stop publishing a change log of updates to Windows 10. So not only are the updates compulsory, but now you'll not even know what was updated and why. Good luck tracking down post patch issues. I can remember many times on XP and a few on Win 7 where an MS patch broke something and I was able to fix it by rolling back prior to the patch. Makes me nervous.

    Tesla Review

Tesla's average around 250mi...of course depending how you drive it. I have no plans to take long trips with the X and I have 3 other cars if I want to take a road trip. I don't think I wood get one if it was my only car though there are more charging stations around than you think.

    Tesla Review

We reserved a model x today...we'll see what it looks like (specs etc) when released to determine if we follow through on acquisition. I fully plan on leasing...if they make leaps in battery technology the value of these "early" models will surely drop significantly.

Yep, same with the X. Only the P models allow the "insanity" option.

No, x is the cuv model (like the car s model). P stands for performance so there should be a px but the model #'s haven't been released yet.

    Tesla Review

I've been following the owners forum closely and much of what is being reported in the media thus far is either inaccurate or conjecture. A handful of the early reservists that ordered the high-end signature model were given access to begin configuring their cars but much of the details are still hidden, even from them. They are braver than me...they have to place their order with a week to make changes on a $140k car for which they have little detail as to the specifications and even how the car would look/function. So far, Tesla has not shown the final production front of the car nor the way the rear seats operate. All ordering exterior views are from the rear.
