  1. I bought a 32 oz bottle and it works perfectly. Seals tight. A little tough to open. Like a child proof medicine bottle in concept. Push down and turn. I used it a couple of time when intentionally running my scooter out of fuel to learn range and fuel gauge needle position. Well worth the $20.
  2. No AMA funny business. Come one come all. Have a great time. Ride a great track. I'm gonna continue to run 4 classes to wear myself out. I wish we raced there twice a year. We are always open to a scooter class as well. Bring a scooter and at least a couple of friends and we can make it happen. We should be arriving Saturday just before Noon. Biggie
  3. Good training bike. Scooters are much faster and much more useful. And as Hoblick states an xr100 is faster on kart tracks.

  5. I just got taxes today. I buy a lot. I like to avoid the people and time wasted as well. The revenue will help the state. It sucks to pay taxes. My son just started working at Amazon in Seattle this past Monday. Huge company that does way way more than move merchandise. Riders Discount always cheaper. I love their subscribe and save. Keeps me from thinking about the basics. Easy returns to Amazon as well.

  7. I've found State Farm does well for sport bikes. The 1199 was $33/month for full. The scooter and little bikes have always been between $10-13/month per. Even the Aprilia. RS125. Part of the good price is my home and cars also insured with them. Hell, even my life is too.

  9. I respond by asking them if they were paid to lay it down. Since no then 99.9% that they crashed trying to avoid another crash. Sometimes this works out. I've intentionally ditched a bike by stabbin rear brake after running off the race course to avoid going into a fence. Slicks or DOT slicks on wet grass down hill don't have more traction than a sliding bike.

If debit card offers same protection, which many do but be careful about things like only protected while signing not entering pin (credit vs debit transactions), then using just keeps you from spending money you don't have. There are some debit card reward programs. Personally I use a CC and pay off weekly.
  11. This sport is growing. I have found it to be a great way to meet past, present and future champions and all around bad ass fast guys. Low cost. High fun. We race at the edge of traction more than I was ever capable of doing on big bikes. 17 bikes in XR100 Expert grid last Saturday. Image credit to our race starter for this event, Mr. Brian Conrad. Bikes are stock XR100/CRF100's with XR80 front wheels and two new tubes and two new tires. Tires last a whole season even for the fast guys. XR100 bump up class is F3. For $45 and $10 transponder rental if you don't have your own, you could be racing four 10 lap heat races. Two for each class. And we have rental XR's for those who are still making the "I wish I had a bike" excuse . Only another $50 or so.
  12. My big bike days are over. I have a new CRF150r super mini moto and stock XR100. Saved this and held on second place despite heavy pressure for 10 laps. I blew the engine on my RS125 Aprili at Jennings. I'm not sure where to go from here.
  13. I love150r's. I haven't ridden mine yet. It's almost ready.
  14. All true but add 150r to that as well. The real reason is that I can't ride it without thinking it's gonna kill me. It's seriously fast!
  15. I purchased this bike brand new and put approximately 2800 miles of street use. Grandpa owned. Stored in heated garage during winter. All service performed at Commonwealth Ducati in Louisville where it was purchased. Multiple oil changes and fluid changes. Then I had Commonwealth convert the bike to a WERA spec race bike. The bike was never raced. I did ride it at JenningsGP for a total of 5 track days. Odometer is 3382. Clean and clear title in hand. The bike has never been crashed. No drops or tip overs. All tuning done by Chad Wells @ Commonwealth (180 RWHP, 90 ft-lb). Bike weighs just over 380 lbs with a little fuel. Upgrades include but not limited to: Full Akrapovic titanium exhaust. 1199S model wheels with Ducati OEM rotors. Pirelli slicks, rear is brand new. Original wheels with Ducati OEM rotors as spares. Pirelli slicks used front and rear. Ohlins 30mm front kit Ohlins TTX rear shock and spring. Adjustable rear ride height bar. Armour bodywork with full bellypan. Woodcraft rearsets. Engine case covers on both sides. R&G front axle sliders. Dynojet V Ducati DDA (Ducati Data Analysis, monitors and records RPM, gear, speed, throttle position, etc) Ducati Performance quick keyless gas cap. CRG RC2 Shorty Brake and Clutch levers. Ohlins steering damper. Shorai lightweight battery and battery tender dongle. Pit Bull reversible rear stand (works on either side) Ducati Performance quick shifter for GP Shift. A few Ducati specialty tools. Here is a clip so you can see and hear this beautiful machine. Located just North of Cincinnati. Price is $13500 Firm. I have over $30K invested in this bike.

  17. Made it successfully down and back. 555 has quite a bit of gravel. No crashes. The real goal was to force UP to ride the LEL with me and I did it. Found out my scooter doesn't get that good of fuel economy at wide open throttle. Biggie
