  1. You can buy a nice balancer for $150 or from Harbor Freight for $40. Be ready to replace the axle pipe in the kit as they are normally bent from HF. That, some wheel weights, and another YouTube video on balancing and you're good to go. It's not that hard from what I've seen. After watching this video I'll be doing my track bike's tires at home. When I get good I'll start doing my other bikes. Thanks for the video! Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Todd Mintress at Helmet Harbor LLC was trying to put together a group buy for $220 a week ago. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Mid-Ohio does gift cards. Maybe a good Christmas gift from the family or lady. Living outside would suck but that would be more people getting to see you and the king of the street big dog liter + machine. However, it would be unacceptable for the bike to stay outside with you. 4. At this point the arms race is on. Kawasaki has 1000 nukes vs Suzuki's 999. Either one will assure mass destruction. And you had better believe I will strap NOS on that thing the second a Kawi blows my fairings off. I learned how to ride it like a boss so that'll be a tall order sir:D It only took the green machine 12 years to catch up. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  5. If you factor in Suzuki running a finance promo it's about cheaper to buy a new one if you plan on financing. I got 1.99% on mine for 60 months:cool: Cash players have a different story though. In 2009 they did a major revision and it is a lot more bike. I would hunt down one of those first. He does have chrome rims, some polish work done to it, and it looks clean. There wasn't a mention of the miles in the post so it's hard to determine what's fair. Busa's are either garage queens, big mile touring bikes, or have so much custom work done nobody wants to pay the asking price and the seller is still losing his shirt. So many people buy the status symbol, scare the shit out of themselves, and park it. Others run it until the wheels fall off. Heck, if I pin my throttle in 1st my shorts come out wet by the time I'm hitting 3rd. That bike taught me throttle control like an angry pimp. The Busa is a heathen beast but it will hold it's value as the only bike worthy of Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Check out my avatar and say that:D You'll get an extreme workout in the twisties heaving it around but it'll handle it. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Don't forget FORUM2012 as a promo code upon checkout gives you a $10 discount. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  8. They ended up taking care if it for me! Sorry didn't update. She started with a store credit but I won't be coming down here anymore so she went to call for authorization. Nobody picked up and she said screw it and posted a full refund. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Well, it looks like I'll never know what riding one is like. The Electra never came back in so I got a Heritage Soft Tail. The second I plunked down my $150 it started pouring rain. I waited for almost 2 hours and pulled it back in their garage. The 30% chance for morning showers today turned into a downpour since 6 a.m. and no chance of it stopping today. What a waste of money:banghead: At least I had the lady at the counter talk about her drift car project, a Nissan Maxima. She thinks it's RWD:confused: Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2

  11. Nice! You could have all kinds of fun with this. It owns Hayden's helmet. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2

  13. I went to one bike night and watched an old school black dude with a SWEET KZ1000 about bite it pulling out. Both were still living in the 70's. That bike sounded like the thundering gallop of the horse ridden by Jesus for the second coming. It was stretched, custom paint, chrome, and a wheelie bar. He hit the bump on the way out and almost tipped it over, but he gunned it and his body whipped like a crash test dummy and away he went. No helmet but he was dressed to the 9's. I've never been back since. Watching people get drunk and ride scares me. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  14. I'm in Myrtle Beach for vacation and I didn't get my VTX1800 together in time to bring with me. No biggie I found 2 places that rent Harley's. I stopped into one to inquire and I received the Harley dealer attitude I've only heard about. This was my first time in a Harley sales floor. I'm sure they deal with tourists squids all day long but they didn't give me a chance. I'm sure I could out ride 99% of the employees and patrons, but I digress. The lady walks to the counter, after a nice wait, in full Harley gear, boots, leather vest, skin tight jeans, Harley bandanna, etc. I ask about an Electra Glide for some touring. After rambling off surprisingly high prices she snapped at me and said, "don't have any and don't know when they'll be back. You can call everyday and check and I don't know how long you are staying so it's hard telling." No sorry we are out, no we can call you if one comes available, no thank you, goodbye, referral, nothing. She did say they have a Sportster. I almost said it's bad enough I have to ride a Harley in the first place, let alone a Sportster. That was the rudest I've ever been treated in a bike shop. She had a general tone of disgust that I was in her presence. So I went to the other Harley place and a cute little Mexican counter girl, who didn't have HD tattooed on her leather skinned forehead, hooked me up with a smile, went over packages, bikes in stock, insurance, etc. She brought me in the back to sit on my two choices to narrow it down. I did business with her needless to say. Lucky for me I'm a metric bike/crotch rocket buyer only and I've never had this experience even when I was a dumb squid. Now to see if a $20000+ bike can compare to my 9 year old Honda. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2

    Sag session

For a fee a local surgeon can respring those for the proper sag and swap some silicone in those to get them ready to hit the track again. Until then it appears unsafe to ride in a high performance application but it may be safe for street walking only. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  16. I don't think it's a bad price either. Very clean and a perfect starter bike. Craigslist can be tough sometimes. Somebody will know the actual value of it and give a reasonable offer eventually. It makes me wish my wife was interested in riding Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Criminals don't pick targets they think will endanger them. If people are packing it spins the odds in our favor. I have 3 beastly bulldogs at my home and you can bet if somebody wanted to pull a robbery they would go next door after one glance in the window at this:D Disaster avoided!!! 18. This is pretty sweet. With throttle control and skills to drift a bike it makes me wonder how fast he could go on a track. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  19. I'm planning on heading up Tuesday. The weather is showing 20% chance of showers Monday and 10% on Tuesday. It looks Crazbiker4 will be rolling as well. Who else plans on attending? There's not much more time to get out and play before the season is over! Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I would retire that sprocket and make a ninja star out of it. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Thank god you are okay. That looks nasty. Sounds like some good riding made the best of a horrible situation. Horses seem dangerous to me too. My wife rides them. I don't want to negotiate with a 1200lb animal and hope it sees things my way. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  22. I can only hope to be 1/3 as badass as this guy someday. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  23. There isn't much to do in Ohio....except ride so you're in the right place. Welcome! Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  24. Just trying to say they are really bad up here. That's all. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
  25. Welcome aboard. Check out Mid-Ohio for a track. It's a special place to ride and pretty technical. Watch out for deer on the country twisties too! Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
