The car was wrong for blocking traffic, but he still had the right to proceed forward in order to clear the intersection. He had right-of-way over the bike. The bike violated the right-of-way of the car in a reckless manner. If he had approached the car in a slower manner and then with a polite gesture indicated a request to squeeze by in front of the car, my guess is that his request would have been granted, considering it was a small vehicle and could easily pass through and be gone. They both should have been ticketed. .

He should be banned from riding a motorcycle on the street. He is an idiot. .

My HJC CL-16 has served me well for a first helmet. I'm now interested in one with a little more airflow and a little less wind noise. The two don't usually go hand-in-hand. The Shoei RF-1200 is on my wish list. It is SNELL rated, which is worlds higher of a rating that any DOT helmet, which I don't really trust, anyway. It's around $500 at Iron Pony. I'm just playing with ideas here.

The word, "EPIC" indicates to me a special one time occurance related to a certain event. Is every ride going to be epic? Using the word "epic" every time seems to take away anything special about our rides in general. These rides might then be viewed as, "Just another ride by those guys on that website." How about wording similar to: EPIC SERIES Ohio Spring Ride May 2015 or EPIC SERIES Ohio Fall Ride September 2015 or THE EPIC OHIO SERIES Spring Motorcycle Ride May 2015 ...or something along those lines? .
