My HJC CL-16 has served me well for a first helmet. I'm now interested in one with a little more airflow and a little less wind noise. The two don't usually go hand-in-hand. The Shoei RF-1200 is on my wish list. It is SNELL rated, which is worlds higher of a rating that any DOT helmet, which I don't really trust, anyway. It's around $500 at Iron Pony. I would like a suspension setup. Work hours have changed, though. Don't know if I can make it. Last year was big fun. Funny watching the neighbor's dog run off with a pack of hotdog buns. . .

Kawasaki's 2014 Ninja 1000 seems to have great reviews.

I can't help but wonder if someone high up is pulling strings to make the land available for development at a later date and structuring a deal to buy the land at a very discounted rate once the lake is drained. Just a thought. I don't trust anything the government tries to get us to believe. .

I'm just playing with ideas here.

The word, "EPIC" indicates to me a special one time occurance related to a certain event. Is every ride going to be epic? Using the word "epic" every time seems to take away anything special about our rides in general. These rides might then be viewed as, "Just another ride by those guys on that website." How about wording similar to: EPIC SERIES Ohio Spring Ride May 2015 or EPIC SERIES Ohio Fall Ride September 2015 or THE EPIC OHIO SERIES Spring Motorcycle Ride May 2015 ...or something along those lines? .

Should the logo distinguish between a spring ride and a fall ride that happens in the same year? .

I think for legal reasons, the "Ohio Riders" name or logo should not be a part of our rides, just in case there is an incident where an injured rider may feel damages are due to them and a lawsut comes up. The more legal distance between the website and rides we participate in, the better. That protects the website and Casper, as well. .

They seem to have issues with the site every year as soon as registration opens. I think they get overwhelmed with everyone trying to access the site at one time. .

It's been a full month for me also. Checked account. Still says, This order is marked as Awaiting Fulfillment It's no big issue but it is irritating and makes me hesitant to place additional orders. It's not like shipping hasn't already been paid. .
