Wal-mart in Hamilton had about 20 boxes of Tulammo .223 just a few hours ago.

I have been stalking Walmart over the last month or so and have accumulated about 600 rounds of Federal 9mm ammo. Not bad I guess for about $15 a box. I jumped on some Winchester .380 from MidwayUSA a few weeks back too and got 500 rounds for about $180 shipped.

It is a great little gun and cheap to shoot. No issues with the 100s of rounds I put through it so far. It is a very nice facility also. I have a membership at Middletown Sportsman Club, but the weather hasn't been cooperating lately. I have been wanting to get out and try my shotgun against some clay.

Took my wife to the range for the first time. She shot the M&P 22 a few times and then the 9mm. She was way more excited about the 9mm. Lol All in all a good Sunday.

I ended up getting some bulk pack .22LR ammo on my drive up to Minneapolis for IMS a few weeks ago by stopping at Wal-mart's along the way. Also took the opportunity to get my hands on some cheap 9mm ammo. I guess you could say I was smuggling it across state lines... LOL

I had a Yamaha FJR with Helibars, touring windscreen and a Russell Day Long custom seat. It was setup for touring and I traveled thousand of miles on it. Very comfy seating position with the Helibars and I highly recommend the seat for any bike you get. Also owned an '06 Sportster 1200C and set that up with the pillowtop Harley seat, windscreen, bars that were up and back a bit and forward controls. It was also pretty comfortable and I did thousands of miles on that one too. I have always bought the bike that I liked and modded the hell out of it until I got it to suit my needs.

Drove up to Minneapolis yesterday for IMS and stopped at a few Walmarts along the way to grab up some 9mm and 380 ammo since I couldn't find any of the cheap stuff around home.

Went to the range with my bro and my dad for his birthday. Got to shoot my Bersa 9mm and 380 for the first time.

The store was very clean and even though there were quite a few people in there, I was acknowledged pretty quickly and the guy behind the counter answered my questions and didn't come off as impatient. I picked the Bersa's up about a week ago and that had been my 3rd gun shop for the day and I can't remember what I saw where... Lol

I love buying myself Christmas presents! And a little something for my wife... I got both at Point Blank Gun Shop in Blue Ash.

They were out of AR's and the ammo. Had a decent selection of handguns though. Nice place and good guys to talk to.

I was there yesterday around noon and it was crazy busy... Apparently everybody had the day off, including myself! Lol Also stopped at Target World, Bass Pro Shops, and Freedom Firearms... All crazy busy too!

Thanks for the info, everyone I talked to said the same thing about the +P rounds. I got a box of round nose so that will get me going. Lol

I guess I worded that last one a bit odd... I am excited to put some rounds through the 38, but the closest ranges are a bit of a drive. I was looking at buying a 9mm gun, not 9mm ammo to shoot in the 38.

Thanks guys, not in any rush to sell it. I am excited to put a few rounds through it though. I was down to Target World and Point Blank looking at some 9mm's, but both of those ranges are at least 30 minutes away... Would love a range closer to where I live.

Mod. 60 is stamped on the frame. Does that narrow down the year?

I was given this gun when my grandpa passed and wanted to find a little bit of info on it. In searching Google for pictures, it looks to be an older Model 36 "Chief's Special"? I am curious to see when it was manufactured and an approximate value and any other info you guys might have. Thanks,

Best seat I owned was a Russell Day-Long on my FJR. It was an expensive SOB, butt the trips were far more enjoyable. I have a Sargent on my VFR and a Corbin on the CBR, they are much better than stock on longer rides. As others said, gel by itself is terrible (at least for me).

Might not be first-aid related, but I usually bring along some Pepto tablets in case you get into some food or something that doesn't agree with you.
