  1. Ghey Garage. Sounds like Jesse James might be there.
  2. By the way, you don't need an ADV/DS/Enduro bike to enjoy the event. There are dozens of pre-laid routes and most of them are either all-pavement or can be cut to avoid dirt. If you do have an off-road-capable bike, plenty of routes will make you smile very much.
  3. I'll be there that Thurs-Sun, staying at the 'Wink with another OhioRider (FlyFishJeff). Either riding our Strom and GS down or trailering a Beta and DR for dirtier ventures. It's a great event and fantastic charity. This'll be #3 for me and is a highlight of the season.
  4. Ditto man, I'm sorry I missed it. I'll bring some smoked meats, side dish or desert this time.
  5. Could y'all keep your ears open for me? I'm looking for a folding motorcycle trailer to haul 2-3 bikes to Wayne, Perry and such. I like the Kendon models the best because they're relatively lightweight and fold up for garage storage. Ideally I'd like to pay under $1600 but could stretch for the right rig. Willing to travel to most of Ohio. https://www.kendonusa.com/product/stand-up-dirt-bike-sport-bike-scooter-trailer/
  6. Anyone spot a Kendon folding trailer in Ohio? There were a couple at the end of the season but I didn't jump fast enough.
  7. Got a line on any used Kendons for sale? I'm in the market for a 2-bike or 3-bike model but don't have the budget for new.
  8. I wore the jacket (bought from RD!) all last year and love it. It's seen monsoon level rain, dirt, dust, heat and cold. No complaints.
  9. Tonic I must take exception to your analysis. You failed (failed!) to include their beautifully designed strategy to whip up the Democratic base around keystone messages of racism (to distract from Obama's negatives and BLM's rioting and ridiculously racist demands), sexism (to detract from Hillary's negatives), xenophobia (to detract from immigration rule of law), heartlessness (to detract from socialist/collectivist agendas), classism (to detract from their own anti-coal/rural/white biases) and intellectual inferiority (to detract from their own failure to understand economics and keep from being called on their own hypocrisy). Oh, and the fact that they overplayed every narrative to the point of the general populous tuning them out and under-representing their disgust in polls, leading to an election result that surprised just about everyone. Liberals are still roiling - I know this for a fact after having a brilliant conversation with an actually very cool lesbian DC PAC member who says they're struggling to regain their direction. I gently offered the notion that libertarian ideas could hold the keys to digging under partisan lines and she seemed to thoughtfully consider it. We'll see.
  10. Bad324 is spot on. If I can learn from YouTube and a few online recipes to produce very nice results, anyone can.
  11. I smoked salmon in mine for the first time this week. Wow, I'm going to do that again! 210 degrees for 3 hours, though I think I'll go a little shorter, add water to the drip pan and wrap aluminum foil over the tops to keep more moisture in.
  12. Sincere thanks @Isaac's Papa - looking forward to seeing you, @CrazySkullCrusher and the rest of you magnificent bastards again soon. I'm following the Cleveland motorcycle thread - might make it again this year and finally have time after the event to have a drink with y'all.
  13. IMHO, I think the individual liberty thing is a wash either way - both parties have justifiable arguments (right of the business owner vs. right of the employee), so I think it's a reasonable compromise. Employer can say don't bring it inside (yet leave the employee vulnerable to attack between the building and their car), but at least the employee regains their constitutional right when they're back in their property. My employer's policy explicitly says we're not allowed to carry a weapon on their property except when explicitly permitted by law. In less than 90 days, SB199 will allow me to legally protect myself from a violent attack from a miscreant and an employment attack from HR for doing so.
  14. Glad to hear you're better off Tpoppa. That's a brutal lot to go through. Weird one for me too. A good recovery from 4-level cervical disc replacement surgery, but rewarded later with residual peripheral neuropathy (numb/cold/tight arms and hands) that's likely due to lower level compression and systemic inflammation. A full year of "cleansing the palate" by not dating one bit after a shit marriage with bad custody issues, a LTR with different issues, another promising STR until I undid it facing more critical health issues, made a big job change to an intense management role, switched up a few motorcycles and did several excellent long-distance ADV and camping rides, rounding the year out with 6500 on the odos. It's why I don't post here as much as I used to - just too busy most of the time. Still, all said, happy to be alive and getting around, not stuck in an unhealthy relationship, challenged to rise against, and a little more self-aware than 365 days ago.
  15. I just threw up a little in my mouth, thanks jerk - LOL. Merry Christmas everyone!
  16. Quoted from another OR inmate, "President Obama is about to retaliate for foreign actions suspected to be state sponsored. Suspected. Let that sink in for a minute."
  17. SOLD - thanks for the comments and reposts guys!
  18. Thanks Bubba - much appreciated! I'll know in another hour.
  19. Thanks guys! I guarantee I'll regret selling her from time to time, but there's a fellow coming Sunday morning who seems like a perfect buyer - he's restored a few of these in the past and both knows what he's getting into and all I've done to bring her this far. I'll use the cash to pick up a trailer by spring to enjoy Wayne National Forest without having to ride all the way there and back. Man I love riding dirt.

  21. Some pretty good firearm deals posted at Blackwing Shooting Center in Delaware Ohio (just Northwest of Columbus). S&W AR for $550, LCP gen 2 for $189, Shields from $299, and a tempting Silver Pidgeon I for $1899. http://blackwingsc.com/current_specials/
  22. Plenty of YouTube vids than contradict the theory of birdshot staying behind a couple layers of drywall. Still gotta know what's behind your target.
  23. Yea, it was almost brand new in that pic and only went through a couple high temp cycles first to burn off lacquers. It didn't come with a meat probe so I bought a remote unit off Amazon for about $30.
