Nice Bike!

It would be even scarier being the passenger.

Congrats

I shopped at Andersons a couple of weeks ago. Most of my shopping at Andersons is done in spring, winter, and fall. They sell good stuff for grilling out.
It is also nice talking to somebody that knows about the beer and wine they are selling. I have been given good recommendations from them many times.

I've got the green light. I am hoping to make the trip to the Ozarks on the way.

When they show up on Craigslist, they tend to sell quickly. I tried, but they always sold fast. In a stroke of luck, I saw a guy putting a for sale sign on the 2 bike version down the street from my parents. I bought it immediately.
Good luck with your search.

I know many people that find corruptness far more despicable than offensive language (or statements). They also understand that disarming the middle class will have no effect on gun violence. The path to prosperity doesn't include $20 trillion in debt with budget deficits as far as the eye can see. Obamacare is in a death spiral and throwing more money at it is not the optimal solution.
I live in the suburbs, and most of my friends have college educations. Almost all of them voted for Trump. They are not uneducated bigots. Only a bigot would make a blanket statement about half the US population.

Hello

Get well soon!
3 months is probably about right. I had my surgery about 11 weeks ago. My wife said that I can't ride until I passed the wide balance test, and I passed it yesterday in physical therapy. I have a follow up meeting with my surgeon next week, so I should be cleared to start jogging and riding.
January riding sounds like a good excuse for heated gear.

Installed fuzeblock with new wiring to Garmin Zumo and heated gear port. Took off my bags and put on my lowered seat.
I am planning on taking it for a test ride. This will be the first time that I have ridden it since ACL surgery 2 months ago.

I usually ride to vote. I don't winterize my bike. Sport touring bikes are made to ride all year long (when no snow is on the road).

There is no questioning Obama, he is a prodigious accumulator of debt. Coming up on $20 trillion very quickly. I remember being outraged at $10 trillion.
In case anyone hasn't seen the clip:
It's pretty obvious that these are the two worst candidates in a very long time, and they are in the same election cycle. Our founding fathers are spinning in their graves.

I don't like that Honda went back to the full size exhaust on the new bike.

My Gen 1 was great. Ivans jet kit, and a slip on. Mine made 136 rwhp. It did everything, from touring, to track days, to commuting. One thing to be aware of is the second gear issue. Mine lost second gear. On your test ride, if you can, make sure to take it to red line. Mine started jump out of gear around 8-9000rpms. Ended up being cheaper to replace the entire engine, than just the gears. My fz1 also had an ohlins piston kit done by traxxion dynamics and a penske rear shock. Had a magura front master cylinder and braided lines. Best brakes i've ever used. It was a rock solid, super dependable motorcycle. The only reason I got rid of it, was shear boredom.
Thanks for the advice! I am looking at a 02 in the morning. I will make sure that 2nd gear is taken to red line. Was it all the 02s or just a few?

Come on, not paying taxes does make him smart. Especially when you consider Senator Clinton wrote some of that shit, yet she is too stupid to understand how to get around her own laws.
Doesn't make him a President, but it makes him at least smarter than Hillary.
She gets the majority of her political kickbacks through a tax-free foundation. I would say Hillary (although not the shapes knife in the drawer) is doing OK with her tax mitigation strategies.

The bigger threat to the dollar as a reserve currency is the current $20 trillion dollar national debt coupled with the tens of trillions in unfunded liabilities. If these don't get handled, we will see significant future inflation. A balanced budget is nowhere in sight with either of these two clowns.
What's wrong with people?
