At least he's nice enough to signal that there are police ahead.

I have ridden my bike to test rides, and I show them copies of my MC insurance card. I have never had any issues.
When selling a bike, I ask questions of the potential buyers prior to allowing any test rides. I try to judge their competency.
I will never bring the full asking price in cash (unless it is a more modest purchase.) There is no reason to take thousands of dollars to some strangers house to look at their bike. That would make it too easy to become a victim.

Those old Magnas are fun.

$185k for 101hp. Hopefully this is a sign that Honda has hit rock bottom! When I was young Honda built really nice bikes. Someday, they will again.

Hopefully it clears up. I got the green light from my better half.

I want to join one of these rides. What time would you expect to be back in Columbus?

Enjoy your new ride!

2008 and 2009 were very bad for the residential construction industry. Many did not survive.

Perry and Wayne seem to be the most popular trail systems near Columbus.

I have heard about a bbq shack somewhere down here. What is its name and location?

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, today. Hopefully they got enough of this stuff today to get it out its system.

I can't downsize my photos, but Mt.Pisgah also got it. Yesterday was a cold wet day, and we were avoiding the ice on the BRP.

Unfortunately, we have ridden in the rain everyday so far. Riding in the rain down here is better than riding in OH.

Its a HD, so you are obligated to ride at 10mph under the speed limit, especially on two-lane roads with no passing zones in sight, so you get a loooong line of cars behind you. If they try to pass, you speed up. If they slow down to get back in line, you slow down, too. Ohhhh, and make sure to wave at everyone on a cruiser, but face forward and no response to anything that even remotely resembles a dual sport/ sportbike/ non-HD.
Enjoy.
If you can't pass a Harley, that is totally on you. I have not had that problem. I have been flicked off many a times for passing on double yellow.
If this guy wants to ride HD, let him live.

I am going to bike week starting tomorrow morning. Week long motorcycle camping trip to the mountains. It ends at the OR Invades Deals Gap shindig. I bet more people on OR will be in Deals Gap than the Sandusky bike week .

I would be interested if a good potential location worked out.

Is that the Freeborns beside the Blue Ridge Parkway? If so, how are the accommodations? I eat there when passing through on the BRP, but I have never stayed. I will be passing through there in a little over a week, and we need somewhere to stay if it is raining. Motorcycle camping in the rain is no fun.
Enjoy the trip & stay safe!
