Would you happen to have the stock mirrors or front cowl?

It's sad that there are so many motorcycle owners who don't actually ride.
As often the case, a person's strength of opinion is inversely proportional to the amount if riding they do. When people state strong opinions on motorcycles, I often ask how many miles do they ride in a year. People that ride a lot tend to be more open minded than those that ride less.

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Good luck on the like minded part! (Unless you like beer, guns, and motorcycles)

I would be happy to vote for either. It would be hard to argue with the fact that Ron Paul has done more than anyone else to spread libertarian points of view on the national stage. Unfortunately, his time has passed.
-
I've read that he is going to run again, but is he definitely going to be the Libertarian's candidate? (Paging Dr. Paul).

Sounds good to me. I have kids' soccer games on Saturday mornings until the end of May. Sundays are pretty open.

Good point:
George Bush has Iraq. Obama has everywhere involved with the drone war. With both parties, American citizens are stuck with war and massive budget deficits.

Yup like Mike said, have to keep the psi's up on the connie or she will chew through tires like there is no tommorow. Heavy bike with lots of torque. I keep one extra pound in the rear for milage due to my weight too, I'm about 275lbs dry 285 ish with gear, bike is around 700 ish full of fuel, so even without packed bags I'm rolling almost 1000lbs at any given time. Oh yea and I run Angel GTs, I'll get 8k to 10k out of a front and 6k to 8k out of a rear.
Are you gonna stick with the Angel GTs on your next tire change? I weigh a little less, but I am getting more miles than that on the PR4s. Granted, a lot of my miles are commuting on the slab.

The recommended tire pressure on the Connie is 42 psi, regardless of which tire is on it. If you run lower pressure it will shorten the life of the tires.

They will most likely drive a new sheet pile wall out in front of the existing earthen dam, then fill the void.

There was never really any doubt that they would repair it. 2 to 3 years to complete?

Holy smokes man that is an awesome job. The whole trip was epic but riding the badlands was the coolest part. Not counting the part where Mike spilled a beer all over me.
The most embarrassing part was that I was stone sober.

Cool video. Thanks for posting!

I am not usually a chocolate fanatic, but this is a very good beer.

I've been riding to work. Now that warmer weather is here, I finally got the salt washed off.
