Uh. Oh. Need more vacation time!

Welcome. Enjoy the new ride.

The Sena Bluetooth systems are very nice. It was the best accessory that I have purchased.

I'll second the request for Sorebuttapolooza 2.0.

You are right. There is no way that an orange tip on a plastic gun could have helped prevent this. Manufacturers put them on the play guns for their love of the color orange. Troll on.
-
An orange piece of plastic on the end of the toy gun (kind of like the one required by law) could have prevented this whole tragedy. It is sad situation. Ferguson, MO not so much.

It makes sense. Why should wealth re-distribution be limited to legal citizens?

I use the same xgrip that Tim mentioned above for my phone. I occasionally use my phone for gps directions. I also have a ram mount gps mount to hold my car's Garmin gps. I have it mounted from my clutch reservoir. It is nice to see your gps speed in close alignment with your line of site. It also helps to see the upcoming roadway alignment when riding twisties in the mountains. The downside to this set up is that I keep a few zip lock bags on the bike to put over the gps while riding in the rain.

I am hoping to make it.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what is the top speed with supermoto setup on the street?

Congrats!

Like Tim said, we were real close. We didn't document the 2nd day. I had a lot of fun. The 1100 mile day didn't bother me in the slightest. My only issue was that I was ready to bust out the last 200 to 300 miles at a 100 mph pace. I would blame that on drinking a monster energy drink while riding the SD planes with a very far line of sight. We were real close to butt burner on that ride. Probably only missed it by 100 miles.
On a GL1800, it would be easy peasy (with the right preparation and mental outlook).

If you do an Iron Butt ride, I am interested. I need to do a Butt Burner (1500 in 36 hours). A group of us did an Iron Butt Saddle Sore ride in June.

Welcome to OR. This is an especially good time of the year to be riding a wing. You can turn on the heater, back massager, and espresso machine while riding to help forget about the cold weather.

A good father is way more empowering to little girls then donating to this cause. If those were my kids in that video, I would be pissed.

That is alot of money for a slow and uncomfortable bike.

Go shirtless... Screw the cold cause that shit'd be HAWT.
I only ride shirtless when I have sandals on and no helmet!

my buddy has the Olympia Motoquest jacket, and it is one of the nicest, most versatile jackets i have ever seen in my life.
Thanks. I think I'll be getting either the Olympia Motoquest or Nomad. They seem to be really nice jackets.

Welcome

I have the transition III in hi viz and love it, I had the II for 7 years and it was just a great jacket.
Do you notice less people cutting you off with a high vis jacket?
With your Transition jacket did you have any things easily break? I have the Venture and Air Venture pants. I have had a number of annoyances like zippers easily breaking and liners ripping.
-
I will be upgrading my MC jacket soon. I am trying to decide between the Aerostich Darien, Firstgear TPG Ranier, or the Klim Latitude. I am currently leaning toward the Firstgear Ranier in high vis.
Does anyone have any experience with these jackets, and any suggestions?
I am also interested on people’s opinion of high vis. I don't care for how it looks when off the bike. However, if high vis is really beneficial, then I may get it.

Now there won't be anything in Daytona but a bunch of drunken pirates. It's a shame.
