  1. Haters are gonna hate. There is little to anything that you can do to change their perceptions and opinions. I just smile and nod when passing cruisers.

If you ride a zx14, then there are very few (if any) cars that could prevent your pass with the available room. When I pass on the freeway, I execute the pass as quickly as possible. I then return to normal speed.

The sport bike perception will not change quickly, if ever.

  2. I wish my seat come off without taking off 4 bolts. Could stash wiring better.

I'm going with this for now for the extensions so they're easy to get and to secure out of the way of anything. Just a couple wire retaining stick on clips. I'll pocket the controller since I'm only using one on the jacket and gloves, I have another one for when I start wearing the pants but they don't bother me much to clip on my belt.bacd8523cf2a86fa0c6a1226147a8a63.jpgc9093f7d44196a6bed920d0cc73dd496.jpg

Here is how mine is set up. I keep the cord tucked under the seat when it is not in use. I just pull out the cord when I need it. I don't need to remove the seat.

  3. Lane splitting will limit the size ST, but the larger STs are considerably more comfortable for 2 up riding. The vfr 800 seems to fit the smaller ST bill. Also, Honda is clearing out the vfr1200 at really low prices. If a larger ST fits the bill, you can't go wrong with a Concours 14 or FJR. If money is not a big consideration, the BMW k1600 is very nice.
