Welcome

Unfortunately, I can't make it.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. ... unless Uncle Sam decides otherwise.
The nice thing about executive orders (and other run arounds of Congress), is they can all be undone with the election of a new executive. Unfortunately, as a bureaucracy gains more power, it seldom wants to relent any of the new powers.

Haters are gonna hate. There is little to anything that you can do to change their perceptions and opinions. I just smile and nod when passing cruisers.
If you ride a zx14, then there are very few (if any) cars that could prevent your pass with the available room. When I pass on the freeway, I execute the pass as quickly as possible. I then return to normal speed.
The sport bike perception will not change quickly, if ever.

I wish my seat come off without taking off 4 bolts. Could stash wiring better.
I'm going with this for now for the extensions so they're easy to get and to secure out of the way of anything. Just a couple wire retaining stick on clips. I'll pocket the controller since I'm only using one on the jacket and gloves, I have another one for when I start wearing the pants but they don't bother me much to clip on my belt.
Here is how mine is set up. I keep the cord tucked under the seat when it is not in use. I just pull out the cord when I need it. I don't need to remove the seat.

I have the power wire under my seat. I can tuck it under when it is not needed. I clip the controller on my suit jacket, so I can adjust temps while riding.

Get a wing or other touring bike, and you will never need a trailer.

Will will the FirstGear socks and gloves connect up to the Gerbing's wires from their jacket liner and pant liner?

I have about 20k miles using the x-grip with speeds exceeding 120mph. I have never had any issues.

Ram Mount, accept no substitutes.

Looks slow! Bet he can't corner at speeds greater than 10 mph. Oh by the way, that is FUGLY!

Good looking bike. GLWS.

A death by gun shot would have been a win for the families of the victims and the taxpayers of Ohio.

Lane splitting will limit the size ST, but the larger STs are considerably more comfortable for 2 up riding. The vfr 800 seems to fit the smaller ST bill. Also, Honda is clearing out the vfr1200 at really low prices. If a larger ST fits the bill, you can't go wrong with a Concours 14 or FJR. If money is not a big consideration, the BMW k1600 is very nice.
