    Comic Sans FTMFW!
  2. No wouldn't hurt, make sure the rest of the lines hooked to it are clear and in decent shape or it won't work anyway.

Yup, I understand. Just that my stalled automatic walked a lot of stick cars.......... ..............IN MEXICO!! How about I put it in words you'll understand? WINNING IS WINNING!! http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/This_is_Brasil.png btw-I don't care if that made any sense.

No shit, no wonder the trailer park comments were over his head.
  5. Sounds like it's not only overfilled but quite possibly has a poorly functioning PCV system. Positive crankcase ventilation or lack there of will cause issues wth oil leaks and oil consumption. The part of the vacuum system and PCV valve are important to keep pressure from building up pushing oil out of the engine, very possibly why oil is all the way up the dipstick tube when you first pull it out, and what is helping to ruin your valve cover gaskets. Keep in mind I said possibly, just speculation from across the interwebs. Just judging by your pics I'd say the car could use a few maintenence items.
  6. Huh? As in overfull? How far up the dipstick? Don't take this the wrong way but given some of your ignorance I'm going to ask, you do know how to check oil right? Car off, warm engine, wipe the stick off, insert clean dipstick and pull it out? Something is wrong if it's overfull, either the obvious that it was overfilled, or some other fluid is getting in it like coolant, does it still look like oil?
  7. Please tell me you didn't put more of those shit Bosch plugs back in it? Worst thing you can buy for most cars. Hopefully someone told you that NGK is about the best thing you can buy for most Japanese cars, even if they aren't platinum/iridium. I even run them in my Camaro I think so highly of them. Judging by the oil on the plugs it needs valve cover gaskets, which would explain the look of burnt oil on the coils. The coils are not something I'd worry about, but I'd fix the valve covers. When you're inspecting spark plugs you need to look at the porcelin around the electrode (white part that actually sits in the engine), and the ground strap. It's hard to tell from your picture if you got oil on a couple of those or if there is heavy carbon on it from misfiring in those cylinders and running rich. I don't suppose you remember what cylinder those came out of? The top and bottom plugs in your picture? They all look like they burn some oil from the brown tint, with the one in the center looking best out of those.

but but but.....Corvettes were built by god. Why you worship that satanic GTR for? Because by god if Autozone doesn't have parts for it, it can't be holier then thou.
  9. Oh yeah, I rarely work on Nissans but I have come across that before. I hope that's not the case because te best way to fix it is to just replace the harness, and you'd better grab your ankles and hang on for that one.
  10. Yup. I'm going to agree, but seeing a how this is going is why I said just throw an O2 sensor on it. That would suit the "parts store" mentality. I can see it now, he had one of his coworkers in the parking lot with the little handheld scanner, they saw an O2 or fuel trim related code and said "yup needs an O2". Seriously though, the codes would be nice.

Is now sig worthy. and so many choices of silly ass comments to choose from. feel free to find your favorite here http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108923
  12. IN for sound clips, thats got to sound different. and godamn thats a loooooooong muffler, got enough straight section for that thing?
  13. Interesting, knock sensor could be from it misfiring, throw an O2 sensor on it. If the fuel trims are out of wack it'll run shitty too.

O'hai. Dude sure has painted a great picture of himself huh?
  15. For once you're right, it'll cost more to develop and produce then 2.5 million a car. Just like every Veyron, they've lost money building them. It's an exercise to prove a point not make money.
  16. Okay I thought it would be funny.
  17. They've been cracking down harder in the last couple years trying to prevent theft.
  18. I would love to hear the other guy's story, "I couldn't even fool this little kid". Hilarious.

Over my head? :dumb: It was reference of how you talk and present yourself, making fun of your bad use of the english language. Over who's head again? Read the little bit of info in Kirk's profile, he doesn't live here :dumb: I feel like I'm talking to a potatoe.

I stopped sucking my Mom's tit before I turned one. WTF goes on in your family? and your brother lives on Mom's tit and that's the "party" life. It doesn't surprise me that the trailer park comments come up when you talk like that, and then feel the need to defend your home :dumb: TRAILER PARK IS A STATE OF MIND!!! in comic sans for the haters
  21. Highly doubt it, just a GM thing as far as I know.
  22. All you need is 30 minutes to learn the key on most GMs. FYI for anyone reading this- Attempt to start, wait 10 minutes, cycle key once security light goes off, put back in run, wait 10 minutes until the light goes back off, cycle key again and wait 10 more minutes, then the vehicle should work fine. Really its only the brand new cars with the flip keys that cannot be programmed that way, however it is much faster for all of them if you have a GM scan tool and a dealer login.
  23. You know I think you left a little room unused around the turbo and manifold, should've went bigger. Looking forward to seeing how it works out this year.

I only want to state that swapping a clutch in C5 or C6 Vette is not an easy task, and anyone who will do it without a lift has my respect. I've swaped engines, trans, and rear ends in mine and other f-bodies on jackstands and I would think twice about doing the same in a Vette. I'm not taking anyone's side, especially in a train wreck thread like this, but for how many people who work on their own cars fixing and modding them the direction this has gone bashing someone doing just the same is getting stupid. I don't care for imstock2's posting, haven't really talked to him in person, but I'm not going to knock someone for wrenching on their own car, having shit break, and not giving up. All the guy does is try to make it better everytime something happens. Everyone who has taken cheap shots about his car breaking or the way he's done things is just a fucking hater, go back to talking shit about the dude or the dumb shit he says, leave the poor Corvette alone. and I give no fucks, anyone who knows me has seen me go through the same shit. My Camaro is on its second engine, 5th transmission, and 3rd rear-end. I beat the shit out of my car, but some of that carnage was simply my fault due to learning and McSteaks, everyone makes McSteaks. **steps off soapbox, zips up flame suit**
