  1. If they're like any other HID I've worked on there is only 3 things it can be, a piss poor connection, ballast, or bulb.

    Saturday 12-22

I'm ready to get out of the house tonight.
  3. It was good, just makes no sense to take your top service writer and demote him because he pisses you off personally. Is basically what it boiled down to, Laurie Gill is pushing her weight around and its pretty obvious in the way she treats him. At this point I'll just take my chances elsewhere, 30 hours of warranty work on Subarus is still better then 20 hours of bullshit.
  4. It's not just that, the way things have changed at Dave Gill has put a big impact on how work is distributed in the shop. I was consistantly in the top 3 guys in the shop until that happened. Now everything is split up and I get much fewer opportunities for upsells and gravey work, because I'm not even allowed to do oil changes when I'm dead and nobody knows this service advisor they have me working for now. Guy couldn't find orders to write in a parking lot full of junk cars. Not to mention the lies I was fed about my ASE certs, and I don't need the "I told you so" you were right they fucked me. That is why I'm done here.
  5. Wow, that would be cool. Let me know.
  6. Lots of people leave the automotive field around our age group, however I've worked at other things, electrical, construction, debt collecting, warehouse work, forklift, and I like where I'm at compared to any of that. I'm likely going to be a lifer.
  7. If your ass is in my face my dick will be down your throat, remember that.
  8. Like I said I don't work there, I could see him being a bully and a PITA the way he carries himself but I know how to deal with that. Good to know though thank you. This is what I'm thinking, and is why I'm leaning heavily towards doing it. Very good to know, I figured since there are only 3 Subaru dealerships in town they'd have to go somewhere. Unlike GM where you are within a few miles of someone to do your warranty work.
  9. Really? That is not a common issue, usually oil pump failure is a byproduct of misinstallation.
  10. People don't hate me, but I can promise Patterson will get a big rape hug next time I see him. Stupid mother fucker that he is
  11. Yeah I met Paul and Tim yesterday, both seemed pretty cool, you are correct, Paul is Mazda, Tim is Subaru. Didn't know you had worked there, Paul seemed a lot more old school so I don't forsee issues but I don't work there yet either. Good to know, the techs stay pretty busy from what you remember?
  12. http://ls1tech.com/forums/attachments/racers-lounge/119342d1202527488-funny-mustang-motivational-posters-motivator2359509.jpg I'll just live with the gay jokes, and Barbie car comments. It's not the only car I have anyway.
  13. Fuck these people, it's not a church, it's a damn family of douchebags. Glad to know there are people standing up in front of these retards. Calling themselves a church grants them so much protection when all they are is extremists. I'm sure God does not want you protesting the dead, I hope they all live in purgatory for eternity.
  14. How do you like Byers as a company to work for? Typical place? Good?
  15. Well thats good to know, thanks for posting.

    Saturday gets my vote.
  18. Yeah that was all he could talk about, and how they can't get enough trained Subaru techs. The big upside for me is training and pay. GM training sucks, and since I didn't take GM classes after high school it makes it harder for me. Subaru seems more geared towards someone like me who is already a tech that they can train after the fact, unlike Ford, GM, Honda, and others. A lot of brands are doing training at colleges before really working, a couple guys younger then me do well with GM because they had that ahead of time and I didn't. Anyway I'm really leaning towards doing it, but I informed them I wouldn't make a decision until next week.
  19. Keep in mind guys I'm talking about the Service side, and not sales. Doc- I beleive Tre is on Hamilton Rd and this is Sawmill, but I'd be curious to know how he likes the company and what he's heard if anything.
  20. What do you guys think of this place? Any experiences, know anyone there? I have a job offer on the table, and I'm weighing out my options. This would mean lots of training and a pay increase right off the bat so I'm seriously considering it. Looking for opinions.
  21. Highflow is the normal one, super highflow is worth more.
  22. Bottles go for about $100 if they aren't out of date. The whole thing would be a good deal for someone at $250.
