  1. So it all works good? Where are you at? I'll have to find a truck but I'd like to get it.
  2. The whole thing, the opti's pickup is in the distributor not the cap and rotor.
  3. I've never had great luck with a vacuum bleeder, I use a pressure bleeder when its available or I use the old school bleeder bottle method. Try something else to eliminate the vacuum bleeder as the cause of your troubles.
  4. Wow, not sure that would be a good enough reason for me. However installing a cat without the air pump and bits to keep it from clogging or going bad prematurely are important as it seems you know. Anything you do to reinstall a cat without doing everything else would be a risk at ruining the cat. Personally I'd leave it as is. If you want to try it, pull an electric AIR pump off any late model GM. Most cars have them and they move enough air. F-body ones should be pretty cheap and you can just plumb it in before the cat. I would think high flow cats would be less effected by the lack of and AIR system simply because they flow more and shouldn't clog very easily, but I have no experience with them.
  5. I think you should paint it Sunkist Orange and get an intercooler mounted up ASAP. Would be hella sweet dude.
  6. Where's the Tommy's or Iacona's or Catalfino's? I'll eat any of the big name pizza places, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Donatos are all readily edible in my book, so I picked other.

Not that I want to agree with anyone, but I have seen really high mileage C6s come up once in a while for $18k and up. Most start in the upper $20s. I've seen C5s sell for around $10k with a lot of miles, but its whatever. If you want a nice low mileage C6 expect to spend mid-upper 30s.
  8. Was just slushy shit about an hour ago here at Broad and Hamilton, but it's turning white.
  9. I used Phillips to do the machine work on my block, will not use again. The guy is a dick, doesn't return calls, doesn't work on your shit unless you bother him constantly, and I didn't even want anything special. Took almost 3 months and he didn't do anything but clean, bore, hone, and deck. I doubt he checked anything, told me he file fit my rings which he did not, I did that, it was obvious a file had never touched them. Beat up my cam bearings installing them, fuck that guy. Heard good things about Fowler and M&M. If you're thinking sleeves, ERL is the only place to go. Do a search on Darton sleeves, I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. Only a place that has been very successful sleeving blocks is who I'd trust.
  10. Oh boy, I get to listen to my wife bitch and deal with dumbass drivers who are ill prepared to deal with a little snow. Why any of you look forward to this is beyond me. I personally don't mind driving in it, but everyone else ruins it for me. People either have a car with shit tires, or they themselves are either too scared or stupid to drive right.

  12. YOu guys should stay on topic in people's project threads, really. Nice project OP, not something that is over done by any means,
  13. Why don't you look into Monster clutches? Heard great things about them, or call TickShift and see what they recommend, they sell Monster and others.
  14. I bet the rear looks better in person, the angles should look good if you're looking down at it since the car isn't going to be as tall as the Camaro. Interior looks a little like the C4, I'm not sure if I like it. Can't wait to see one.
  15. Inspired by USB drive? Thing looks like it's straight out of a 1950 "world of tomarow" add.

Hey Buster, I'm already here, maybe we can race back to real life. http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/iqoncept/iqoncept1101/iqoncept110100002/8535803-three-colorful-arrow-signs-reading-confused-baffled-and-bewildered-symbolizing-the-feeling-of-being-.jpg

Always a good time, glad to see some new faces at the hangout. Looking forward to seeing David's Firebird in person, sorry we didn't get to talk more about it.
  19. Damn, I really hope your family is okay. And my cell is right next to me just about all the time, I may not answer for just anybody, but its set to always ring for family/contacts
  20. HPTuners or EFILive, I've used both and prefer EFILive but it's personal opinion. They do the same thing, but the menus and layout are totally different. HPTuners has more coverage, but for an LS1 f-body EFILive has more features and is simpler to use. Cost and licencing is different with both so do your research, and like Brian said Greg Banish's book or DVD is a wise investment for a beginner.
  21. OH YEAH BABY! wait for it......... wait for it......... BAM!! http://gmauthority.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Chevrolet-King-Camaro-ZL1-USF-Bulls-Gold-582x432.jpg

  24. If the relay doesn't click jump it to make sure the vehicle will crank, then check for signal to relay. Sounds like either a bad relay or ignition switch from your description.
