  1. Have you ever used a photo hosting site like photobucket? You won't be able to link them directly off your computer, don't worry I had the same problem when I joined. Find a photosharing site, like photobucket, webshots, flickr, or something, create an account, upload pics, and then copy and paste the link.
  2. Wasn't I told friday that it wasn't a Shelby? Alzheimers is getting to Doc, so don't worry fellas he'll forget all about this shortly.
  3. Welcome on hold for pics.
  4. Whatever AJ, that wasn't my point, just because it feels different doesn't mean it isn't capable of doing its job. Besides depending on how different Vettes are driven, abused, or whatever, they all feel a little different.
  5. Okay smartass, let's put this in perspective, your Subaru has a much smaller flywheel and in turn a much smaller amount of surface area on the clutch then an LS1. So while the Subaru has to be stiff to have the same holding power, by the time an LS1 clutch has that type pedal feel the clutch will feel much more on and off because of the large amount of holding power. Sure you've got the muscle power in your left leg to control that? It's obvious from your track times you don't have it in your right. :lolguy:
  6. Is a little competition all you needed? I guess I'll put the big boy jets in so I can have CR's quickest LS1 f-body. Sorry I couldn't go with you, but nobody ever doubted what your car does.
  7. I guess you should put a Subaru clutch in it then. There is nothing wrong with an LS7 clutch, the 10 bolt will come apart first.
  8. Well I guess I'll play nice and welcome you, you did try to make a proper intro post. It looks like you have a car worth fixing up.

    Sawmill?

Yes, or drink at your house, take your pick?
  10. Sommore trolling, wouldn't surprise, but not playing along wouldn't be any fun either.
  11. Yes that is how I prefer to do it. People get away with just doing a generic machining of the block and throwing parts in it, but for a quality job that isn't the best way.
  12. Randy's machine shop is Whitehall is very reasonable and we've used him plenty for stuff through work, if all you are going to do is basic machine work I'd save a few bucks and take it there. Phillips racing did the machine work on my Camaro, while he is a pain in the ass to deal with, never returning calls and taking forever, he did a good job on the machine work. Keep in mind to do good machine work you need to have all the parts to go into the engine, so the block can be honed to match the pistons and everything can be balanced and matched.
  13. Good info, but you're a little late to the party. OP bought a $20 ford 302, that I'd bet $40 never gets built, at least not by OP.
  14. Jones is bored, obviously. and yes wax it.
  15. It always starts pretty slow anymore, I don't try to get there before 830-9.
  16. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/member.php?u=2614 I guess he was on a couple days ago, but like I said hasn't posted.
  17. Hal doesn't even post much, I'd be surprised if he even reads this, let alone responds. Hence this will go nowhere.
  18. Congrats on the good runs Steve. I don't see what the big deal is with stock bottom end stuff anymore anyway, especially since it can't just be a friendly thing.
  19. I would really like to know how that super noisey 10 bolt in your car is magical, just because you haven't raced it enough to break it?
  20. Now see I agree with most of that, but when someone says his friends are on here, they should have already been told of how their intro should go. Most new members are joining because they got told about it, and yet there are very few intro threads that are worth a shit. Hey new guy, this site isn't bad at all, just don't be an idiot. Hopefully you'll make me feel bad for the neg rep.
  21. Hey man Erica at WTS hair designers does a great job. I tell you to check out the good work she does on her fiance Sean (Crossle), but he is always wearing a hat.
