Unfortunatly I'm 4 eyed, so I wear perscription RayBans. When I wore contacts I had a pair of Oakley X-metals.

and kept them in an Oakley Vault.

I still have them, but I guess that shows how old I'm getting.
You are comparing 2 totally different heads for different applications there. A ported 5.3 head would be fine for a LS1, but not on something with a bigger bore. Vice-versa for L92 head. Given proper homes good heads can show anywhere from 30-50rwhp or more depending on the combination of parts.
The only thing that usually happens when you do work to the trans/converter is that your shift pressure tables need to be returned to stock after a shift kit and only varied in very small amounts, the shift points at WOT may need to be adjusted due to the stall slowing the shift down, and just a few small tweeks to shift points if neccesary.
This really should have no effect on how the engine runs, if that fact wasn't obvious.
This.
My 6.0L build includes a built bottom end, but with a mild set of heads on the higher compression LQ9 you could see 400rwhp pretty easy. Thats basically where mine's at.
Some of you that made it over to Dyno Brian's yesterday know that my car broke again. It seems that the tailshaft housing on my transmission broke. I had just replaced it friday because the first one was cracked and leaking, then saturday while making pulls it started leaking fluid. This time it came apart far enough to bind up the driveshaft, hopefully it didn't hurt the output shaft.
Before anyone says anything about the Performabuilt tranny, know that it doesn't come with a tailhousing or a bellhousing. So I'm not blaming them, not to mention that I need to relocate the torque arm. I'll have to inspect things a little closer when I take it apart, but I don't know what could've happened other then the converter hits so hard plus nitrous and 500rwhp just puts too much stress on it.
The new one's have all sorts of problems. The 4WDs, brakes, engine, you name it, it's all sub-par.
and this was my other point, the old one's were great, but if you've had 3 200k+ mile S-blazers what do you think you'll find now?
Even as GM biased as I am, all you'll find now is junk when it comes to these things. The new shit is worthless, and the older shit is worn out.
While I don't like the way they drive Jeeps seem to last forever. I'd just go look at trucks. I don't care for any mid-sized SUVs, they all suck.
HOLY SHIT!! I got my first ticket 2 weeks after I got my license at 16, and now finally it says this. :D

You should start making sexual car parts. Big chrome dick shift knobs, pussy pedals, and ball sack steering wheel knobs. The ultimate would be a pussy on the dash that you have to stick a dick in to start the car.
Weather radar shows everything breaking up, so short of a random sprinkle it's clear. So are all you keyboard warriors staying home?
I'm going to BW3s Reynoldsburg about 8:30-9 for my 3 day late birthday, afterwards?
