iiirc it should be a very similar design piston (flat top) as an LQ9, so whatever it would be slapping 799s on an LQ9. Somewhere around 11:1

Wow. Always amazes me what the Buster comes up with. I think it as been proven what a bad idea it can be to import a car, you really have to know the right people, and have other means of transportation. Just ask Doc how long it took to get his Veiwt running again. Why don't you just buy a Mustang? It'll be the fastest thing you've ever had, they're everywhere, and they are easy enough to maintain. Go back into the 90s and I bet you can afford it too.

Proper cleaning and a windsheild treatment will go a long way towards longevity and make most cheap blades work great for a while. I'm a cheap bastard, I buy the cheap ones we carry at work at my cost, and clean them with rubbing alchohol once and a while to bring them back to life, a little rain-x never hurt either. Beam style blades are nice though, if I was to spend a little extra thats what I'd get.

Not sure what wheels you are refering to Anthony having, doesn't ring a bell with me. and thinking about it C5 Z06 wheels came on a Vette in 17x9.5 and 18x10.5, so they are likely knock offs, I'm assuming they came off of an f-body? They're likely 54mm offset. Not what I'm looking for since I would prefer staggered Vette wheels anyway.

Factory Z06 wheels would be stamped "speedline" inside one of the spokes. What is the back spacing on the wheels?

Broke in the Vette this weekend in good CR fashion, was on the dyno yesterday, and made a pass today. It's a whopping 315rwhp/330rwtq, and 13.32 at 107, not too shabby for a 14 year old car. It'll be fun playing with this thing. Had a great time, nice hanging out with some friends in the suite. Thanks to Anthony and Tina for making the best of the track rental situation.

Tim, my daughter is 13, I live in a nice house, my bills get paid. I'm going to keep having fun. As much as I kick around jobs or school, being a technician is what I'm good at, and I can get out of bed in the morning and not dred going there. Yes i bought the car. Its a decent 49k mile white c5 with a 6 speed. Not the nicest and far from the worst, cost me less monthly then the MazdaSpeed did. So hate all you want I'm going to be having fun next summer instead of sitting on the sidelines.

I'm not willing to pay for a C6 GS no matter how long I wait, and whether i get a loan now or a loan next year its not going change a lot. So I spend 6 months longer paying off a couple things, fuck it.
