  1. seesh, fine I'll bring some tools home and we'll slam it up in there.
  2. What else can we do? I'm sick of sitting around and was looking forward to getting out and doing something fun. Anybody have some ideas?
  3. Well that sucks, fucking legal bullshit. I was really looking forward to this, hopefully they get it all worked out soon.
  4. Yes you would be right, just for more fuel ability. Iirc just about any 600cfm carb is single feed, not a big deal. I'd go with what you posted.
  5. Well that's really helpful Paul. Given the trouble I got into last year my attorny stated that Franklin county is the easiest to deal with, most surrounding counties aren't going to let you off of anything. Your best bet is to go in and talk to them explaining how sorry you are for screwing up. That isn't that bad of a ticket anyway, don't sweat the insurance stuff much over that I doubt it'll go up much if any for one ticket.
  6. Exactly what I was thinking. I've heard mixed opinions on Edelbrock carbs, but have always had good luck with the couple Hollys that I've used and worked on.
  7. Phil isn't on CR anymore.
  8. Hope they come up with some stronger parts for the auto, why do you think it has a bunch of torque management and they can pick up so much down low? Duh? I now the first thing I'll be doing when someone brings one in with trans issues, checking the ECM and voiding warranties. 183 ftlbs? Anyone who does this then goes and beats on it is a retard.
  9. I've already replaced a broken rear diff and a broken in half transfer case on 2 different Traverses at work this year. The vehicles are stupid. Kudos to you and your minivan. Glad to hear you and your daughter didn't have any troubles. I'm glad I live near the edge of the suburbs, where I'm just close enough to have all the benefits of the city. I sure as hell wouldn't have made it in anything I own.
  10. Lame, change her name to oldalreadyhadkidsdumbbitch.
  11. You're not the only one, as a matter of fact 36 years ago, me, my wife, my house, my cars, did not exist. I remember in the early 90s being in middle school having a couple years with multiple decent snows and subzero temps, but nothing that could be described as a blizzard.
  12. So it seems to me that they couldn't afford to do it legally, got on Craigslist, did it anyway. Fuck these worthless people now going to the state for more money after having the kid. This poor guy tried to be nice and wasn't smart about it. So as far as I'm concerned fuck him too. People doing whatever shit they want and trying to make the rest of us pay for it piss me off. Complicated situation isn't easily fixed, but this is a should be a case of the government stepping back and saying you are all on your own. Don't want the kid to suffer put it up for adoption so someone who isn't a bottom dweller can afford the kid and raise it with some sense. /rant
  13. Yeah, if any of you didn't realize Craig here is an Acura technician I'd bet on this.
  14. You may be right I don't work on many Hondas. If that's the case it would have to be ball joints or a tie rod end. Those are the type of noises you can typically feel in the component when you rest your hand on it while someone turns the wheel.
  15. Honestly it could be about anything that moves with the wheel, but since you've replaced some stuff recently I suggested the upper strut mounts because those are easily overlooked. However since you haven't noticed any play in the front end the chance of having something leave you stranded is slim.
  16. Sounds like bearing plates on top of the struts to me, good luck.
  17. I have an old entertainment center in my loft that my wife and I watch TV on occasionally and the TV quit working. Of course it's meant for a tube TV, the 32" that is there barely fits so I can't use anything bigger. If anyone has some old decent TV laying around I'd be interested. Not willing to spend a lot considering I can buy a basic flatscreen pretty cheap. So let me know what you've got.
  18. F-body group wake up!!
  19. Seen a few Harbor Freight boxes and are deff worth it for the money. If I didn't work as a tech that's what I'd buy. You can easily get over $10k in a box going with something like Snap-on or Matco. Even Snap-on's cheaper boxes cost more then double a comparable sized Harbor Freight box. Craftsman boxes are junk IMHO, most lube techs start out with them and it doesn't take long for the draws to fall out of them.
  20. I'm not all broke up about it, but just because he's a worthless fuck on death row doesn't mean we as the general public should make him suffer. In other words the point of the legal system is to maintain some civility, so why wouldn't we make it quick?
  21. We are on the same page as far as what the car means, I have no desire to get rid of the car. I figured on keeping most stuff I take off, maybe not to put back in this car but a beater to thrash at the drag strip someday. Who knows, but I will keep my options open.
  22. Well Hawk's has a regular website and I've ordered multiple items from them over the phone and their ebay store. So anyone with an f-body should become familiar with them.
  23. It was an automatic right? $30 dude seriously. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Camaro-Firebird-Ebony-Black-Automatic-Ashtray-Lid-Cover-New-/291058172940?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item43c46b440c
