Put in my PTO request slip today. Just need to find a pair of gauntlet style gloves and I should be set.
Although not required for novice, I'd recommend if you don't already have a back protector to get one of those as well.

My forecast looks a bit different than yours.

Me me me!
Dude anytime... You should have came out with us the night I crashed at your place. I would have loved to ride the Ducati and you could have romped around on the Z...

Yes, your first novice track day at Mid-Ohio gives you little time for anything regarding something like that. You'll come off the track, might check tire temp and adjust, immediately head to your rider's meeting which goes for about 20 minutes (entire advanced session) and you'll have about 10 minutes of time to think and prepare for your next session and then they'll be calling for novice riders to stage for the next session. The time between your sessions seems to go sooo fast. Any chance you get, I'd recommend relaxing.
Make sure you drink lots of water and eat as light as possible. You definitely don't want food coma.

In typical fashion, the weather looks to be complete shit. If things don't change drastically, the inevitable will happen.

Because you always do it in May ?
I agree with you, but we've had this discussion before. Any later and it runs into Deals Gap/Racing Season. Any earlier and we are riding on Ice...

And per usual, the early forecasts are NOT looking good. UGHHHHH.
Why does this always happen SMH

May be better to meet at 7 and in road by 7:30.
gives room for gas up in Malta and head to meet spot.
I'll move kick stands up to 745 to give us a bit more time... even if we do end up running a few minutes late, they'll just have to wait on us!

Event moved to Sunday May, 20, 2018 due to weather!
As usual will meet in Wooster at the Minit Mart (BP) at the corner of 83/250 at 7:30am. 825 Dover Rd, Wooster, OH 44691
Kick stands up at 7:45 to get to the meet spot by 10:30. Route is simple. 83S to 78W into McConnelsville.
Anyone can jump in with the group in Millersburg (~8:05) , Coshocton (~8:25) , or New Concord (~8:45) if needed.
Of course, no-one will be left behind. Will wait for group at appropriate locations so no-one will need to feel pressured to keep up if they can't. Please let me know if you are going to be meeting at the other locations so we know to look for you!
See you in the AM.

What kind of prices are we talking about for the HJC RPHA 10? He wants a full face, not a modular. @RidersDiscount You can PM if you'd like with a price.
-
Buddy of mine is looking for a new lid. He hasn't really stated a budget just that he wanted a new full face helmet (non modular) and was asking me if I recommended anything that was really good for the money.
I figured I'd run this passed you guys and seeing if anyone had any good recommendations. I saw @RidersDiscount had a nice deal on the red Shoei RF-1200 red/black for 379.99.
Anyone know of a good helmet at a decent price that I should recommend to him? II'm not sure of his head shape either, but he can test out a few. Maybe a trip to Iron Pony to try on a bunch of helmets for him would be his best option and then pick the one he likes, but I'm also a bit curious of what everyone things. understand that most helmets offer fairly similar crash protection and the pricier helmets offer weight reduction, sound reduction, airflow, durability etc.

My season should start by May 19th weekend. Between being so sick this month and weekend work schedule, I've not been able to get my bike ready. Still a lot to do on it, but this weekend is going to be dedicated to getting it prepped.
Might try to make it May 6th to spectate and get some more Intel though
What are you racing?

Looks like they have a round at Adkins and PIRC which are much closer.
I have been on the PIRC kart track with my sumo. Lots of fun. Would be better with others, the place was deserted. But $30 to run as much as you want from 8-12 on the weekend seems like a good deal to me.
This past weekend, Saturday was $20.00 to run as much as you want from 12-5. Can't beat that.

It's definitely got me hooked. I will be there for a few races at least! After I get back from the wedding, I'll be scouring for XR100s.
Edit: Will probably also force me to lose some weight and get back into shape which will be a good thing- 1

3 hours ago, what said:More peeps come on out next time! @jacobhawkins and I won't be at the race on 5/5, but I think we will both be at the race on 5/19-20 at CRP.
You can watch me lose again.
Aint about winning or losing... it's about battling and improving. From start of weekend to end of Sunday, you definitely showed great improvement and confidence

I've honestly had no real issues with Amazon. Anytime I've had any sort of issues, they've been quick to fix my issues and always willing to throw something in for my inconvenience and I appreciate that. I'm a prime member so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
