  1. I went to Costco this morning for "senior hour" 8:00AM to 9:00AM, felt guilty because you have to be 60 and I'm 62, probably look like 70 years but don't feel it. There was a huge amount of TP, I asked the manager if TP would be available later, he said the hoarders are gone. The war between the hoarders and the TP manufacturers seems to be over and the TP manufacturers won. The plants can make more than the hoarders can store in the homes. The hoarders put up a good fight, but the plants can run round the clock and require very little man power to operate. At least that's the story in CLE. BTW, Costco will not let you return the over bought TP.

  5. I need new tires for my Kaw H2 SX SE and wanted recommendations. Thanks in advance for your advice
  6. Put a Sargent seat on the Kaw H2 SX SE bike and rode 265 miles today, seat is very comfortable.
  7. I have gone to the store the last few days and noticed the TP was gone. Kinda laugh at these people hoarding. We buy the large packages of TP from Costco so we don't have to go to the store. Well, I had to check to see our inventory since it seems to be a very valuable commodity. Based on our usage we ONLY have a 16 week supply of TP. I better get to Walmart early when the trucks arrive......LOL. I noticed Giant Eagle is allowing 60+ year old people to shop an hour early. Wonder if we need to get up early, anyone know if they are checking ID's. Out of everything people can hoard, the ignorant choose TP.......OMG. I have been in these paper production plants, there are virtually no workers involved in the process of making TP, round the clock forever. The hoarders will be very surprised when they find out the shelves are full in a couple weeks and stay stocked forever. When the CV curve flattens the hoarders will discover they have a couple years supply of TP.

I received the InEarz ear plugs with speakers. The last few days I had a chance to ride on the highway over 90 MPH and on the back roads, these are very impressive. They conform to my ears extremely well and are very comfortable. The ear plugs block the majority of wind noise and the speakers are truly amazing. I have always enjoyed merging my obsessions of music and riding, in the 80's I had to use earbuds and bulky Sony Walkman's and AM/FM players with buttons to change channels quickly to avoid the commercials. Of course I lost a couple of Walkmans flying off my belt on the highway. In the 90's I upgraded to MP3 players with earbuds. With all these earbuds they would pop out of your ears if you turned your head wrong. Then the holy grail came can down from the heavens in 2010, the Sena arrived. No more earbuds, pretty good sound and you could change songs with a turn of the wheel. BUT, the sound wasn't that loud, even after I upgraded to aftermarket IASUS speakers. The InEarz ear plugs with speakers are so loud I barely turn the volume up and the sound clarity is good. These are such an improvement over the Sena speakers there is no comparison. JMHO!
  9. I thought about a retro bike and I owned bikes in the 70's & 80's. I recently rode some 70's bikes and forgot how bad the brakes, suspension and power was back then. NO THANKS! If I wanted a retro bike I would buy the new Kawasaki Z900 bike with a water cooled engine, ABS, etc, all the modern technology with the retro look. I believe of all the retro bikes out today Kaw did the best job with the total package, it stirs memories of the original Kaw KZ900 looks with the best of today's technology.
  10. Congrats on all the work you and everyone did to get this passed

  25. I agree with your statement that EV's will be mainstream viable in 7-10 years. I can't use a Tesla as a business vehicle due to the range. I drive to an account in Canada and it's a 320 miles away. I leave at 6:30AM and arrive before 11:30AM for lunch. During the winter the Tesla range will be reduced due to the cold, we can argue the amount, but let's say 10% (I have read 20%). I can't make it to my destination and I am not getting up earlier in the morning to save the planet and find a charging station, hoping nobody else is in line. EV's will take hold when the range gets to 500 miles (Less in the cold) because the number of components in an EV are way less than an ICE vehicle, reducing the cost of assembly. Also, EV's have to be produced by auto companies even if they don't make money because of government CAFE standards. Tesla has been in business for 16 years and hasn't come close to making a profit on an annual basis, they are no longer a start up. Tesla made money last quarter and sold less vehicles I will will be curious if they can continue making a profit in future quarters.
