Get Well Soon, Fall riding season is just around the corner.

Spyder lady and I returned from our Little Switzerland, NC. 13-18th. trip yesterday afternoon. "1623miles total" just missing the rain by minutes. We decided to blast back 429miles via Interstate 77&64 to beat the rain and not do a overnight in-route. Had a great time riding the curves of the NC/TN area with local knowledge routes set up by the "MSTA" org. The Big Lyn Lodge was fan f'in fantastic with great meals and accommodations. MSTA provided a great local classic rock band outside overlooking the mountains on Saturday night that caused me to over consume the wine and beer, but I was still able to dance outside with Spyder lady while wearing flip flop's. We road over to Erwin, TN. area to visit the Unaka Mountain Overlook, that I found when I road the Smokey Mountain 1000 adventure section. So I was able to make it up to the top on the Z1K but Spyder made it 3/4 and waited for me to get the photo. FYI, Erwin, TN. is another good base to do ADV stuff. Great time. The Z1k work well with soft bags strapped on we had no issues.

I told you I was interested and was hoping to ride a NEW ROUTE with you. Not the same old "Sweepers are for Sleepers" track day route you love to ride. But Nooooooo, Nothing...... No start time or specific location. WTF I was willing to overnight in Cadiz, Just to "feast on the east" with you and your CBR mit big ass bag. Then maybe have lunch at.......What is it, O yea, Ar-bee's and maybe since you ride a gold wing NOW we will have to take on some tasty Ice at bastard & robins. Great Ride with Big Ohio today. 9am blasted out to Marietta on 550. Then did a section of ADV riding in Washington and Monroe Co. Lunch in Matamoras. Then back thru Noble Co. and Blasted home on SR78. 200 plus miles. Saw a LOT of flood damage and repair on all roads. Thanks Steve for riding along. Great Day. TIRE WHAT!!!!! I went to my local bike shop "Top Dog Performance Cycles" Who has changed (est.20) tires for me when I am too lazy to use my NoMar changer, (that I sold last year) I like to use local shops when I can to help them stay open. But today I am told that If I did NOT purchase the tire from them, He cannot change the tire due to his insurance company's liability rules. Note: same response from Pony Powersports 4242 Coonpath Rd NW, Carroll, OH 43112 Are YOU F___ing kidding me. IS this a scam or has the world gone Mad? Big Ohio has offered me the use of his changer so that we can Adventure ride this Sunday as the weather cools.

Air Filter Service, Not more than 5min to access, filter in hand. Valves?? Yes many V-Strom Valve clearance Insp./Adj. on my 2004/2014 and this 2016. Air Filter: 1. Fuel tank top cover: 3ea. Allen screws. 2. Fuel tank side covers: 4ea. Allen screws. 3. Fuel Tank: 1ea. Forward 10mm nut and bolt, 1ea. Rear Allen screw, 1ea. Fuel supply line, (Lock Clip) 2ea. Vent hoses.(No Clamp) 4. Air Filter cover. 6ea. Cross tip screws

The Gap event Cxl'ed. Today I road the long ass "SOAL" Southern Ohio Adventure Loop. (over rated). I am draging ass right now stuffing my face with pizza and a oaky finish cabernet. But.... I will rise to the occasion and get my old ass on the Z1K in the morning and meet you after a productive bowel movment and a spirited ride to New Concord.

243 Miles of back road fun with Spyder Wife. Over to Theo's in Cambridge then down to Marietta and back to Hocking Hills.
