You go from being planted on concrete to having a bike constantly move underneath you. Just had my first real off road experience not too long ago, it was a lot of fun.
I've ridden dirt bikes prior to street bikes. That's what makes me miss it so much.

I'm out. Work decided to switch me to weekend shift until July. No epic ride or gap trip for me 😕

I am a strong maybe. If I do make it, I can lead a group (preferably fast or med/fast).

Now I have to spend some time considering which bar weights are the least aesthetically unappealing. There are some shit products out there. All the nice stuff is twice what I paid for the handlebar.
I went with the RhinoMoto bar ends so i could use the OEM threads and CRG bar end mirrors. If you get the threaded insert part sorted out, it might be a good option for you,

I have a pair of these in the Goretex. Outstanding boots!

75k miles in Sena headsets, countless downpours, never had a waterproof issue. Smh10, 10u, and now my srl. I've tested it up to 150+mph and still connected to another rider, running much slower. Range is usually about line of sight. Whatever they claim, just disregard it. They're not gonna reach 2 miles unless your daisychaining several together across a group. I had issues with my sena 10u, and started considering scala, but you'll find reviews with people having the same issues as any other brand.

Hard to beat the SMH10 for simplicity, 20s if you're looking for more features and better speakers. Sena is the most common brand with scala after that.

Took the FJR out for a little ride. The wind was insane. Ready for some sunny warm weather.

My best description of the new wing is it feels like a roomy more comfortable FJR. If I totaled my FJR that would be its replacement.

What roads are you riding as you’re throwing the MT around? How are the roads down in SEO?
144,550,377,78,260,26 to Marietta. All roads were in surprisingly good shape, really clean. 260 is getting pretty rough.

NOT IN A MILLION FUCKING YEARS! There are very few people I would ever let ride my machines. And of those people I trust if they fuck it up would make it right.
So Nope ,NOPE and FUCK NOPE!
I 2nd this. If someone had ever rode one of my bikes, it is because I trust them 100%. Cant do that with strangers.

Not much progress for me. New job has really put a damper on my gym routine, but I walk ALOT more now compared to my last job. Still floating between 210-215. I need to buckle down and get down to my 200 goal.

Damn this trip was so much fun. Easily the most fun I've ever had on a bike trip.
