Got out for a little ride today, 185 miles or so. 78, 555, 550, and some others. Traffic was non existent.

Took the wing out for a nice 390 mile ride over to Cooper's Rock and had lunch overlooking Cheat Lake. The West Virginia mountains were beautiful, traffic was light. It's been a while since I've been on the bike, or on here

Took the wing out for a short ride to Marietta to get some BBQ. It was beautiful out today.

They are all 5qt gallon jugs..right @JustinNck1?
Oh yeah those are super special. Even the label says 4 quart which is weird...

Uh... ft/lbs are irrelevant. It's a soldered wire and not a rigging chain. It should never see tensile stress.
I agree, at some point I’d want the connector to fail instead of breaking something else.

Dragon: fun on any bike imo. Yes, a purpose built grom does great, but I’ve had absolute blasts on heavy loaded touring bikes. Traffic is the reason I avoid the run most times.
Cherohala: You get time really stretch the legs of a bike. Granted it’s triple digit speeds but damn it’s a lot of fun.

I’ve heard so much praise for the DCT. I see it’s selling point and it has its place, but it wasn’t for me yet. My local dealer has a tour DCT leftover for right around $20k, as well as a manual.

Road bike! Road bike! Road bike!
It’s tempting. I never thought I would enjoy the bike path this much, I first was thinking mountain bike but now I’m thinking road bike.

That's average pace for a hybrid. Not that it matters in reality, but most bike&hike paths have a 15mph maximum speed limit. You were pushing your luck, pal.
So that’s why I was asking, on my hybrid I was in top gear and had no issues pedaling, so I felt like I was out of gear.

@JustinNck1No app or anything here. Bike is a 20yr old Sears $100 mountain type bike. Based on mile markers on the trail and my math, I typically avg 13-15mph on the bike path near me.
I was using the MapMyRide app on my phone.

Went out and rode with my fiancé, brother, and sister in law. They did 15 miles and I rode 22 miles. So the last 7 miles, I rode by myself. What is an average speed for flat paved bike path? My ride tracking app said I averaged 14mph for the final 7 miles.

Jamie's MT is worse, he has a tune on it. Following him to the gap last year I could SEE the unburnt gas coming out of the pipe when he rolled on.
100 is tops on his bike.
Hmm, I never noticed that when I had it.

That’s ridiculous. How much fuel can it carry? You’d have to stop every 50 miles or so with my fuel capacity.
When I owned the MT, I was getting upper 20s lower 30s. I’d get gas every 100 miles but when I rode it to the gap I stretched it to 140.

Please tell me that’s an exaggeration. I get 35-40 mpg on the CBR. My truck gets better gas mileage than 15.
It’s pretty bad. My biggest complaint of the MT honestly. Amazing bike but it’s thirsty.

I looked at my bike in the garage while i went to work. I then proceeded to see bikes riding past my work all day...Damn I wish I didn’t work today, it was so nice out.

I’m really enjoying riding the bicycle. Got a quick 10 mile spin yesterday morning, then took the motorcycle out for a ride as well. Ended up ditching the Fiancé’s Walmart bike and bought her a Giant Sedona. She is much better at pedaling up the hills now.

I had Maxwells for the first time last week, and I was very impressed.
