I’m sorry to see you go Nivin, it was always a joy to hang out with you at the rides. NC is a great state, and I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Rode around 270 or so miles yesterday. 78 from Glouster to Woodsfield, 800, 26 to Marietta, 676, 792, 266, 377, 550, 690, then back home. I really haven’t rode the wing at my “quick pace” and yesterday I finally got to ring it’s neck for several hours one up and see what it could do. I’m impressed to say the least, I was running the same pace as if I was on the FJR.

I bought a bicycle! I know it’s nothing compared to the bikes you guys got, but I haven’t owned a bike since I was a kid. My fiancé and I decided to buy cheap Walmart bikes, see how much we ride, then if we see we’re enjoying it, we will buy more quality bicycles. I got a 700c hybrid and she got a cruiser.

This answers my question on if ill ever give CL another go now that they are charging. If they charge and weed out the BS spam and BOTS I'd give them a go. Hearing this, fuck them and their $5.
Heck I hardly even check craigslist anymore due to the huge decrease in listings. Facebook Marketplace is definitely taking a majority of that.

If I ever get a 1200gs I will be sure to watch. Actually, no I won't I will still pay someone to do that part.
First off, us peasants won’t ever be classy enough for the high society of the BMW GS world

And the motorcycle gets the best gas mileage out of all our vehicles.
Yeah if I am ever asked while I’m out in my motorcycle, I say I’m looking for hand sanitizer. Dollar stores can be in the middle of nowhere...

Oh man I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me which pushed back my close date, which then required new pay stub documentation because they were too old. Buying a house is such a pain in the ass, but’s it’s worth it when it’s all over and you got your house.

Where’s the dank whoolies?

Got out again today for a third day of SEO twisties, hocking hills was a ghost town with virtually no traffic. The peg feelers on the new wing got a workout today 😎

Rode it to work. Now I am doing an 8.1 GB software update on it.
That update took a while.

I've never thought really strong initial bite was a benefit on a street bike. I've gone with less aggressive front pads on several bikes. I'd rather modulate the brake as needed and not upset the chassis. Probably less of a concern with a full suite of electronics.
Yeah I agree, I’d rather have a a smoother less aggressive bite.

OEM rotors provide plenty enough braking force IMO. EBCs sure do have a Better initial bite, though it’s not needed IMO.

Now that I have my old man bike, I’m ready for rides like this. I’m still ready for spirited rides. I’m rotate weekends and weekdays at work every 8 weeks so that should make for an interesting riding season.

Sort of on-topic... I ordered a set of EarPeace plugs a few weeks ago. I have been using them primarily for louder work sites and they are pretty good for noise control and they are comfortable.
I do not use buds, anymore. My helmet has Sena built into it and I can charge while I ride if necessary. The speakers could be a little louder, but the Voyager and GS have quiet cockpits. I can hear Waze just fine. I just wanted some more clarity in my tunes. I am hoping the way these plugs let lower decibels through means I can turn down the speakers and get a little better sound, but it is never warm when I am home. Gonna hafta wait until spring.
I’ve been using the earpeace sets for a few years now and I’m happy with them. Never really messed with changing the inserts that much.

Is that a spoiler on the back?
No that’s the OEM accessory luggage rack. They added a led brake light as well on the bottom of the rack.

Columbus hospitals are at record low numbers right now. My fiancée has been put on call the majority of her days scheduled to work. I’ve been out riding when I can, but the weather and my work schedule are cooperating.
